Tags:Hoping to have some embellished rectangles to share with you tomorrow. In the meantime I have been getting a bunch of different samples from people participating this week. I love to see the variety and how everyone is making it work for themselves, their story, their photos, their time.
Feel free to keep sending them my way as you get a chance to work on your album/layout/project. See below for today's giveaway.
Also, I answered most questions in the comments section yesterday. If you asked a question check there for your answer.

My 4-year old was SO EXCITED to get to pre-school today (they were having fire fighters in to talk about fire safety) that he got ready for school, put on his shoes, and buckled himself into his car seat -- without me saying a WORD about it! Wonderful!

i actually remember this morning as I got a chance to braid my 4 yr old's daughter's hair in two braids while she watched pbs and ate strawberry "Joe's O's" with fresh raspberries from our garden - how truly lucky i am- and thought "if i was still doing a week in the life- i would have taken a picture of this moment." The question is- would I have noticed the moment if I hadn't done a week in the life? Maybe not. But because i noticed it- for any reason, i was a little more grateful, and a little more ready to handle the stress of the day today.
Thanks, Ali.

something good about today? I spent the early morning at our local farmer's market and purchased: fresh fruits, fruit tree, sampled fruit and arrived home to our back yard admiring nature and being thankful for having a two week vacation from work (education). Enjoying the moment!

I got to "judge" the visual media & photography contest at my boys' school! This year's theme is "WOW"! And, WOW it was!!!! These kids are so talented!!!! I was blown away at their photography! And, their use of color & various mediums were AWESOME in the visual media category! Also...today is the FIRST day I got to wear a sweater and a coat! Mmmm...FALL!

The best thing about today is that it is gorgeous and NOT 90 degrees here in Houston! I am prepping my Week in the life album so I can complete it at a crop this weekend... and the best thing about tomorrow is that I AM going to win this giveaway. I can feel it!! And even if my intuition is wrong, I'm happy to be playing along!

After walking my son to school on a really beautiful morning, my daughter and I went home and on a whim baked some cupcakes to enjoy after school. A great start to a great day. :)

Even though we received some "not so good" news today about my father in law's visit to the Mayo clinic....I am thankful for today and for life!
Spending time with my 5 children and getting to know my almost 19 year old step-son...and getting a phone call from my favority uncle who lives too far away for us to visit more than once a year!
Thanks Ali for the wonderful "week in the life"...can't wait to get my album done so I can share it with my family!
