Three Things + 1 : Lots of Love (and giveaways)
Tags:This week we are taking a peek at a couple Valentine/Love related products. Look for another round of three next week - there are just too many cool things out there for creating projects that celebrate those you love.

• Thinking a little tiny bit about Valentine projects (must be all the pink). Planning to use my new "Loving Stamps" from Technique Tuesday on something Valentine related. You can also pick up a similar digital version called "Loving Life Word Art." You can download the new Technique Tuesday 2009 Winter Supplement (pdf)
to see the entire line of stamps (or go here).

• Speaking of Valentine's, one of my favorite product lines from CHA last summer
(the big Craft & Hobby show) was from Little Yellow Bicycle called "Love Letters." I love the cardstock stickers (shown above),

• This wonderful print that is going to hang somewhere in my house (maybe in the baby's room or a bathroom) from isophotography (found via poppytalk handmade). It would make a great gift for a loved one.
• And one more lovey thing I couldn't resist this week: little love notes tickets from Making Memories.

It's been just the two of us and we usually go out for a nice dinner. This year we have Alex and my husband will be out of town :( I plan on making little cards and gift bags for his little class at Gymboree. Today I bought little heart molds for chocolate lollypops. Maybe the two of us will go out for a speciall mommy and baby first Valentine.

We decorate the whole house for Valentine's Day. We also do heart shaped food that day as well. Fun! My husband has been taking my daughters out on a date night on Valentine's Day the past two years. (They are 6 and 3 years old.)It is so sweet. He comes home from work and surprises them with flowers, balloons, and chocolates for each one. They get all dressed up and go out to dinner. It is so cute. They love it! Mommy loves it too because I get a nice, quiet evening to myself while they are at dinner.

For my grown children we send them dinner out. It consists of a valentine with a restaurant gift card and money for the babysitter.
For ourselves we fix a delightful meal with red everywhere-candles, placemats, etc. and then we top it off with incredible chocolate. I can hardly wait!

I am going to make a heart-shaped egg in a hole with heart-shaped toast for my son's breakfast and then sneak in a note. He's just beginning to read and I can't wait for him to read my message.
You've got cool giveaways!

My husband and I will usually cook a nice meal for all of us and just have a nice dinner just the four of us. Also, I usually get good chocolate for my husband and something nice and cute for my kids.

Just now have children old enough to do something holiday related with so no traditions yet. My husband and I usually have a little bit fancier of a dinner than is normal at home. This year we will probably wait to eat together once the kids are in bed.

I love valentines day, but have not done nearly the fun ideas posted here! Such creative women! This year I plan to plan ahead and have some fun treats for the children, in addition to doing some valentines day decorating and, of course, some heart-shaped food for dinner (cake, etc.) My children all like to make cards, so I am sure that they will want to make cards for each other and for grandparents~ I love sharing my scrapping supplies with them for that!

Well, Valentine's Day is my mom's birthday so we do the family thing and take her out to supper to her choice of restaurant! Then my Dad and I shop for Valentine's candy a few days later when it's 75% off!

Every Valentines day my daughter and I make the Valentines for her classmates completely from scratch, we use punches and stickers. We have a great time. We have more fun the older she gets.

Hey Ali! I celebrate Valentine's Day by leaving a love note in my husband's car the night before! It sets the romantic mood for the rest of the day when I make a delicious dinner too!

Valentine's Day has always been one of my favorite holidays! I put on a small party for my pre-k students, this is always fun because I love to see them read their cards as they put them into their friends mail boxes:)

Every year my husband and I go stay in a hotel (usually just in the city 20 minutes from home). It's a nice time to just be alone together, snuggling, talking, ordering room service, etc. So important to reconnect as adults, not just parents!

Every year we order a heart shaped pizza from one of two local pizza places that make them for Valentine's Day. For some reason, heart shaped pizza ALWAYS tastes better than regular round ones!

Not sure what time zone you're in, so I'll see if I can still get my name in the drawing.
I'm single so nothing special for Valentine's Day. I think I'll do some stuff with my granddaughter though.
