Three Things + 1 : Lots of Love (and giveaways)
Tags:This week we are taking a peek at a couple Valentine/Love related products. Look for another round of three next week - there are just too many cool things out there for creating projects that celebrate those you love.

• Thinking a little tiny bit about Valentine projects (must be all the pink). Planning to use my new "Loving Stamps" from Technique Tuesday on something Valentine related. You can also pick up a similar digital version called "Loving Life Word Art." You can download the new Technique Tuesday 2009 Winter Supplement (pdf)
to see the entire line of stamps (or go here).

• Speaking of Valentine's, one of my favorite product lines from CHA last summer
(the big Craft & Hobby show) was from Little Yellow Bicycle called "Love Letters." I love the cardstock stickers (shown above),

• This wonderful print that is going to hang somewhere in my house (maybe in the baby's room or a bathroom) from isophotography (found via poppytalk handmade). It would make a great gift for a loved one.
• And one more lovey thing I couldn't resist this week: little love notes tickets from Making Memories.

My hubby is in the food business, so Valetines day is typically crazy and not to persoal. So I ususally make him breakfast in bed and we stay in bed until he has to go to work. This year we will have some company as we have a 21 month old, so that should be fun.

My husband and I usually just go have a heart shaped pizza at Boston Pizza (a portion of every heart shaped pizza goes to charity) and give each other a small gift. I love Starbucks mugs so he usually gets me that and I mostly make him something. I made the little felt book that you taught us how to make last year, he loved it!

Valentine's Day is lowkey in our house. We usually get pizza and I make pink cupcakes (which are the hit of the day!).

I love all this stuff. I'm celebrating Valentine's Day by going to the Vagina Monologues this year.

We do the valentines for the kids school pals. My hubby usually gets me flowers and a card. I do something for the kids to make them feel extra special, a note and a piece of candy.

I have made my husband a mini-scrapbook each year for Valentine's Day. He loves them! And it's so cute to see him open up his nightstand drawer and pull one of them out to look through...after all this time, it feels great. Happy Valentine's Day!

For Valentines Day, my boyfriend and I would celebrate our anniversary (2/10) and Valentines. :-P We would do something fun then end it with an Italian dinner. :-)

I don't have kids of my own, so for Valentine's I send out a card with candy for each of the little ones in my life. They each get their own envelope even if two live in the same house. They all think it's great to get mail!

A quiet night out to dinner with hubby while the kids are looked after. Sounds good to me.

Oh....alittle bit of chocolate, a love note, and everyone has to share the things we love about one another over our dinnertime meal...pretty simple and it gives everyone warm fuzzies.

Our tradition is to have our OWN valentine's day. Since I am a teacher, there is usually a holiday nearby... so my hubby and I have always managed to celebrate when we had a whole day off together. I present him with the card I have made for him, and then he tells me what is in store for our day. The big bonus- no added people or prices because it isn't the 14th!

Because Valentine's Day is a Saturday this year, I plan on spending with my boys. Here's some ideas so far - breakfast (oatmeal with cranberries of course), hot cocoa, some cartoons, lots of games and of course some craft time (they color and I get to scrap). Order in a pizza for dinner and call it a night. A perfect day!

Ok, so I guess I should read. I always make spaghetti, red jello and a red heart shaped cake for my kids. They expect it every year. They are now 17 and 14 and still want the tradition.
