I saw those hearts on Purl Bee last week too -- aren't the colors great? I made a version of the mobile, but made a garland for my mantel. You can see it here:

Thank you for the sweet heart mobile. I want to make a present for a good friend who is having a baby soon and you provided me with a great idea! I think will use my heart stamps and cut them out and glue them together with a ribbon in the middle. It would be nice to sew some hearts as in the picture, but I need to have it ready by tomorrow!
Good luck with the baby and go early to the hospital. I waited too long at home with my second child and he arrived in the car!

I think its good that you are making sure you have somewhere to write down things during the first couple of weeks... I wish I had done that.... not only was I a typical sleep deprived new mom, but I was dealing with PPD... and I really don't remember the first month--- I took some photos and blogged (not much though on the blogging) So other than that and what other people tell me.... that first month is just gone for me.
I wish you soo much luck, its wonderful looking through your blog and seeing Simon grown up - your new baby is coming into soo much love :)

Enjoy the John Adams movie, we just finished watching the last two parts on Saturday. Am amazing film and amazing glimpse into the founding of our country....This is definitely one of my favorite movies.

My weekend was creative too...lots of cooking for the family crowd of football folks who came to watch with my husband. Tried a couple of new things that were hits so I was happy. Made the sweetest coloring book/crayon bag as a 3rd birthday gift for my granddaughter Kennedy and thought about those cute hearts from Purl...does that count? Looks like you're keeping busy as you count down!

We love the John Adams series, and I enjoyed the biography it was based on as well. We let our 10 year old watch it, and she's devoured every book she can find on Abigail Adams ever since. Definitely the sort of role model I want her to have =)

Great projects. I think I'll have the kids help me decorate for valentines day today.

You might want to look into the letters of Abigail and John Adams - there are a couple compilations on Amazon. Wonderfully fascinating (especially after you watch the series).

Once you finish the John Adams series, you should look into one of the compilations of Abigail and John's letters to one another. There are a couple on Amazon. Wonderfully fascinating stuff (and you can squeeze in a letter or two between diaper changes and feedings!!)

Ya know....it's OK, just to take a break when you are this pregnant. Though I LOVE today's post...and will be ordering both, a year in the making and the tooth fairy kit. But...as my seventeen year old would say..."I"m just saying, it really would be OK just to be and not do for a while."

I have tried to get through Pillars of the Earth..congratulations! I'm going to keep trying. You'll love HBO's mini series John Adams. It's soooooooooooo good! I've been visiting you everyday for over a year because I love your style in scrapbooking/memory keeping, etc. But lately I've been here every day to see if little baby A has decided to make her debut. :) I'm thinking of you and sending blessings you way!
