Dolls and stuffed animals have been inspiring me lately...especially making them. There's something inherently magical about taking a few fabric scraps and some thread and using it to create a new friend for somebody else.

I'm being inspired by the thought of spring coming soon. (It's way to early to see any signs of Spring here in Ohio!)

Lately I am particularly inspired by music and quotations. I always love them, but lately I feel like they are helping me keep focus on the person God wants me to be and on not quitting (during my workouts!). Thanks for asking :)

I feel inspired by our economy actually. It's not doing well of course and we all need to figure ways to stretch our budgets. I've started to recycle more things for gifts and what I actually need around the house. So instead of whinning about the market I've decided to use it as an opportunity to do something with what I already have in my possession. I'm very proud with what I've accomplished so far in all my crafts and personal needs.

FACEBOOK - I read a quote on a friends wall that has been very thought provoking. It read: "Our desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of every human soul…we each have an inherent wish to create something that did not exist before." So true...so true.
It went on to say that, "Creation brings deep satisfaction and fulfillment. We become stronger when we take unorganized matter into our hands and craft it into something of beauty."
I needed to hear that this week!

wow, such nice goodies ali, thank you. the unusual spring-time weather has been inspiring me as of late. it's winter in colorado and the sun is shining, the birds are chirping, the green buds of spring are sprouting. i'm ready, bring it!

The simple pleasures of my life remain my anchor and my inspiration.....my children.

my new home inspires me to create. i look around and come up with even more projects to add to my list. currently, i'm working on sewing seat cushion covers, next on the list is a tablecloth, then some decorative pillows for the couch, quilts for the beds, painting the bathrooms, after that...the possibilities are endless!

What has been inspiring me lately has been looking for different ideas outside of the places I usually look for inspiration. I've been a little bored with my usual creative process so I've been trying to think outside of my box a bit.

I am mostly inspired by blogs I read, and I am trying to see the world through different eyes to become more inspired by what is around me. I do jot down colour combinations when I am shopping and I see a neat set of dishes or comforter or something like that.

I'm inspiring myself lately. Working on my business plan and seriously planning some major changes for the next couple of months has my brain spinning with ideas.
I am so in love with that love you to the moon and back pendant. My daughter and I say that a dozen times a day.

My brother inspires me. He is a US Marine and I'm so proud of him. How can we even complain when we think about all they sacrifice for us?

Just having a clean and organized space has made me uber-productive lately!

My children inspire me everyday. They are so courageous and strong. To head out everyday into the world that is not always so nice and come home better because of it. If only I could have their strength.

I recently picked up scrapbooking again after almost 10 years and I have been so inspired by all the wonderful blogs I've found. I am in awe of all the talented artists out there who are willing to share their work. I can't believe how much the industry has changed.

i am inspired at the strength that lies within myself.
that abundance of potential ready on the starting line waiting for me to send it off running to the finish line.
the shot has fired. and i'm soaring toward my goals!

Whats been inspiring me lately? I am so excited that spring it's on it's way and that thought alone gets my creative juices flowing and inspires me to create. I have also been going through old magazines and cutting out things that are inspiring and pasting them in a binder for future reference. I have scrapbook layouts, home decor ideas, recipes, project ideas and blog ideas to name a few all in this binder.

Starbucks....I go there everyday but it wasn't until recently that I noticed their marketing materials have a very scrapbook-ish feel to them. I have already sketched out page ideas based on some of the cool stuff I've seen there. I can't walk in now without thinking of it that way!
