my daughter inspires me. My oldest just turned 16 this past weekend. Seeing her reactions to her special gifts, and seeing her smile.. inspires me in every way. I am so proud of the woman she is becoming.

I am inspired by my new work area. I furnished it last weekend and organized it and it has inspired me to spend more time doing things that I love in a place that I feel comfortable in.

I have found a handful of blogs that are inspiring me lately, most of which seem to stem from Big Picture Scrapbooking and www.faithsisters.com. Maybe a little too much inspiration as I'm a bit overwhelmed and sorta "stuck" in the absorption mode and not into the action mode yet!

After being crashed into last Thursday by a driver who ran a red light and totalled my mini van I feeling inspired by gratitude my kids were not with me, awe at my body's ability to heal and feel better, deep thankfulness that my mini van did what is was supposed to do and protected me from a bad injury and I am trying to inspire a sense of trust as I venture out again that the world will work as it should, people will stop when they are supposed to and overall the world is asfe and lovely place to be.

My kids are my inspiration lately. I have been so much more creative or have been trying to be now that my daughter is 3 and is eager to learn. I have been making little learning projects for her and it has really sparked my creative juices. My husband just celebrated his 30th b-day and my daughter and I made cute Happy Birthday banner from my scrap paper and made a sign and some cute gifts using just paper! In my opinion, it was the best, most inexpensive bday party yet! I know I would not have done that if I did not have my daughter to inspire me to be more creative and think outside the box!

My inspiration lately is my mother. She is 77 years old and diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in 1999 and given 18 months to live. She is a fighter. She has had 2 stem cell transplants and been on chemo for 10 years. After receiving news that she was out of remission in October, she has undergone more intense chemo since then.... all the while caring for my father who is physically disabled and showing signs of dementia. I love her and she inspires me with her love and her spirit.

After traveling for work over the weekend and returning home Sunday night, my 5 1/2 year old told me he "missed me so much, that he wished that I was a kid in his class so he could see me ALL day on Monday!" That has certainly inspired me to concentrate some quality time in the evenings this week!

The hope of spring (and warmer weather) is giving inspiration here. Despite the snow this morning.

My 4 month old inspires me everyday to be a better mom, and to see things at her point of view. Amazing to watch her grow and learn new things and be curious about everything. Being a mom has been the best thing taht has happened to me. It brought me much closer to my mom.

Longer days. I love the longer days that come with spring in the north. They inspire me to try something new, make plans for summer, etc.

My inspiration is my home to be. We are building a new home in another state. And I find so many analogies to life as it takes on its shape. :)
