I've been especially inspired by the hope of spring lately - I am always inspired by that this time of year. My snow is almost all melted, it's warming up, and very windy outside! I love it. These are all amazing giveaways, thank you Ali. I was planning to sign up for the Digital Scrapbook Memories retreat this week, but I'll hold off until I see if I win big here!

Of late, I'm inspired by my good friend Sherline, who's 5-year old daughter was recently in a car accident. This past month has been very tramatic for her family, friends and our entire community, and through it all she has relied on her faith in God to help her out. Sherline is a fellow scrapbooker and has leaned on her hobby to help her out in the many hours spent at the hospital. If you want to read about our little Margaret, check her out at www.caringbridge.com/visit/margaretromph.

Thanks to the lovely Donna Downey I have been inspired by Unity stamps. They are just amazing. I was able to get two of their grab bags at an awsome price and I just love them. I also have been inspired by all the great seed catalogs I have been getting in the mail. Can't wait to get my hands dirty but for now playing with paper flowers has been pretty fun too! Congrats on Anna, she is pure magic!

We are at the beginning of Lent and often people try to give something up during this season. Our church is challenging its members to do a carbon fast during Lent. Each day there are different challenges to help us be mindful of climate change. I am loving how earth minded my church is and love the practical and inspirational suggestions everyday. I am even posting them on my blog. Today's challenge is to stop buying bottled water as this contributes significantly to landfill and transport emissions. Instead, buy a refillable washable bottle and drink tap water. Maybe this comment will inspire someone else!

I am being inspired lately by revisiting my word 'simplify'. Getting rid of things and stopping the clutter before it starts.

I'm inspired to pick up my creative writing (my college major, and haven't done any writing of my own since graduation almost 2 years ago) by Marta at m.writes ( http://www.martawrites.blogspot.com ) with her newly started writer club.

The sunshine and being able to be outside more inspires me to get organized.
Getting organized inspires me to use up all of the fun stuff I have collected and haven't used.
A phone call from a distant cousin requesting information on our common family has inspired me to get all of my old pictures scanned and saved safely for future generations.

My kids inspire me. Recentely my baby turned 4 and I got some great pics of him celebrating at his birthday party. Can't wait to have time to scrap them.

It's easy. My 8 year old daughter inspires me on a daily basis. Her love for life, eagerness to learn and embrace new things, and fearless heart to jump in the deep end of the pool!!! What a great example to see every day!!

What is inspiring me lately? Well lots of things but the two I'm most excited about are: #1 I finally did my 1st all digital layout using PSE6 (totally stoked); then #2 I am learning to use a lot of on-line resources which greatly expands my horizons. I absolutely love that 'Vinage Pearl' necklace, that might have to be a 'must-have' even if I don't win. Thanks for sharing Ali, you are always an inspiration!

Aside from my family and a new DSLR camera (YAY), the "Lucky in Love" Challenge hosted by Digital Scrapbook Memories has inspired me greatly. I've also had renewed inspiration (or motivation) to take better care of myself so I can take care of other.

What's inspiring me? Blue Northern California skies after days and days of rain. Watching my son playing the violin. Seeing my daughter wear and share the necklace she made. Good books, my camera, and strong coffee.
Thanks for sharing.
