Lately, I am inspired by colour and pattern. Colour and pattern inspire me to create different quilts and layouts that evoke not only the story I am telling, but also the feelings and senses surrounding the story. Right now I am inspired by spring and life renewal and I'm using lots of yellows and spring greens. Colours of hope and the promise of what is to come.

My daughters are my true inspiration. They live life to the fullest and our constant reminders to me to enjoy each precious moment.

I recently found Jessica Jones blog "All about orange..." and I love it! I am redecorating our home right now and want to add COLOR but I am one of those people that WANT color but am a little SCARED of committing to it. Her blog has helped inspire me to pursue color! Here is the link:

sunshine after so many days of cloudy gloom really inspires me - that and having something new to work with helps too!

My inspiration....looking at the tranquility and fun of our mid-march spontaneous beach vacation. I can't get enough of those memories!

Lately my inspiration comes from the sun trying to poke it's head through the cloudy sky as it's dropping it's lovely rays upon my happily playing kids who don't know the difference between 48* degree weather and 100* degree weather. They just know it's the sun and all of it's glory.

My inspiration has been coming from the new bright spring colors that I am seeing around...

That it is finally getting lighter in the evenings after a long dark winter. It makes me want to sit outside after work reading or painting looking forward to a long hot summer!

Contentment is inspiring me!

My huge inspiration is our new baby that is on its way sometime in October. It was sure a surprise but we are so excited and inspired by the sheer newness of it all!

I'm gathering inspiration mostly from other scrappers, both online (especially in the Designer Digitals gallery) and in scrapping magazines. So much talent, so much to learn!

What is inspiring me right now is the pending birth of my second baby. I'm so excited for his arrival. There are so many things that I want to create and do right now.
