My co-blogger, Ruth, is the person who's been inspiring me lately. Her honesty, when she writes about her home life, makes me realize that this is something I have to reach for in my own writing.

Have just moved to a new part of the country - wine growing country in Blenheim, NZ. Have been visually fired up and inspired by the difference in light here, the lush vineyards, the way the mountains seem to embrace this valley. Right now the green valley and the deer-suede coloured hills behind are turning their thoughts to autumn and the winter beyond. I can't wait to see it unfold....

Hey Ali...you always have the BEST giveaways!!! Let's see...what's inspiring me right now; hmmmm...I would have to say that the prospect of Spring is inspiring me to take more pictures right now. I love the changes that are coming around the corner and have been inspired to go out and capture them. This morning I noticed beautiful puffy clouds against the bright blue sky and just knew that I needed to take a picture of them in order to feel "close" to Spring. LOVE IT!!!

Spring! We are getting a few warm days here and there and I am loving it. I find myself gravitating toward the colors yellow and green and want fresh flowers all over the house.

Little things just in the everyday ordinary - the way the clouds look in the sky, the truck in front of me carrying different size pipes (I took a pic of that one), the way my cat pats at me in the morning when I am not paying enough attention (probably because I am asleep!!). I really enjoy your blog - thanks!!

Thanks for the giveaway! Right now I'm inspired by the fact that we've had a week or so of really nice weather. WY usually doesn't commit to summer until after Memorial Day and gives it up for Fall before Halloween so I've learned to make the absolute most of the sunniness when we have it. Yesterday the kids and I went to the park for the first time in 5 months and watching them run and play really got my creative juices flowing - and I'm glad I brought the camera! Now I can't wait for a space of time to get the layouts done!

The challenge to be positive and "to be" in these complex times. When I am with positive people, I am amazed at what can be achieved. Thank you for keeping your blog focused on the positive.
