Ravelry www.ravelry.com is inspiring me, mostly through the creativity in the members and patterns, along with all the yummy yarn colors and textures. I guess I'm taking a little break from scrapbooking and catching up on yarn work, but I'm sure the results will end up in my scrapbooking in the near future. Thanks for the opportunity.

Inspiring....wow, so many things! Lots in nature...we've been skiing on Sundays...I've been running, traing for a 1/2 marathon in May...my children, their books...cleaning house, going through old fabrics, notions, etc...my favorite bloggers, Ali and Dawn...and just trying to ENJOY each day and the little things that make up my life right now! Thanks for your inspiration!

I recently watched a documentary called "Young@Heart" and it was one of the most inspirational movies I've ever seen. Seeing these elderly people having a passion for something and inspiring others, it was awesome!

I felt inspired from the moment I woke up this morning, and saw the sun peeking through the blinds of our bedroom window. The way the rays danced about the room, and the crisp chill in the air arroused my senses. I looked to my left and took in the sight of my two young ones laying beside me. At that moment I heard the front door open. My husband was home from work, at last. My worry was over, at least for another night, as any spouse of an officer who works nights fears. I jumped out of bed to greet him with a kiss. This prompted me to carry on throughout my day with inspiration and gusto. It is early evening again, and he is back at work, and I wait with great longing, until tomorrow morning when I am inspired by him again.

Got to be the crocus and other bulbs peeking out and blooming. That first bit of color gives me a little punch! It also makes me think of purple, and how I can use it, just a little at a time, like the crocuses!

Inspiration: what is inspiring me lately is my lovely family. I recently put up large family photographs in my bedroom and as I am redoing my scrapbook room the inspiration that is going on the walls are all of my lovely pics of family. Yesterday I happened upon this movie and sent it out to our staff at school. It really moved me today when several people thanked me both in person and through email for the little moment of inspiration and the cause to make them think. I sent out the link with the question: Are you living your dash?

I am inspired by the way light falls on my kids. Sometimes it falls just right on their cheek or on their toes or around their little silhouette, and I have to run and grab my camera.

I love love love the many design / creative sites there are to zip around and look to for inspiration...but what's lifting my spirits lately in all that's going on in the world, is the discovery channels new commercial - BOOM-DE-YA-DA! It's easy to feel like we are a sinking ship these days - but this brief commercial feels so uplifting and shows the beauty we need to focus on. Sorry I couldn't link it - view it on you tube...

My two year old is my current inspiration....He inspires me to have enough energy to keep up with him at my age....38. I had a lot more energy with my first child at age 26.

I have been inspired lately by stories of so many people doing good things. We recently got a satellite dish and I have fallen in love with Extreme Makeover home edition. I love to hear about people doing good things. There is so much negative in the news that I am LOVING every happy inspiring story I hear lately.

I am inspired by memorabilia today. I just finished an album today from a trip to Vegas and I loved all the tickets and odds and ends that I brought home. It really gave my album life. It has me thinking of all kinds of goodies I can save to create projects!
