Spring is inspiring me....the temperatures are getting somewhat warmer, the grass is getting just a little greener, the birds seem to be singing a little longer, some of my little flowers are poking through, before you know it we will get the sweet relief of spring altogether and I can't wait :)

I have been inspired to "see the light at the end of the tunnel" with my kids poor health for the last three weeks. It has been so hard to be immersed in a World of Sick, but I think we are nearing the end of the yuck!

What's inspiring me now? Seeing the little shoots of daffodils and crocus peaking up and seeking daylight. Ah, I just love the colors of Spring. In the winter I take my camera out on our land and look for spots of color...might just be the orange of the Kubota or bits of bright green fern at the base of a tree. The idea of renewed life and COLOR are whats inspiring me today!

Lately I have been inspired by the color BLUE! I don't know why, but everything I have been buying lately has been blue. I think it must be looking up to the beautiful blue sky now that it seems like spring already here in Florida. So nice!

I wish I knew where my inspiration comes from because I would certainly tap into it more often! It seems that random things can start the ideas flowing- like yesterday I was vacuuming the floor, and all of a sudden I had a great idea for a layout and couldn't wait to sketch it out/jot it down. How's that for an excuse to get out of cleaning!!

my most recent inspiration is actually Claudine Hellmuth. After seeing her on You Tube/CHA '09, I fell in love with her collage art. I am no where near that kinf of artist = abstract only please. Last night, I started my own canvas with only a few touches left. I love being inspired.

I have been reading alot of blogs lately and enjoyed seeing their pictures, layouts and recipes. THAT has inspired me lately:)

Thanks for making me question myself about what is inspiring me right now... I'd have to say that it's my family. I've been creating things with my heart...from the love that my family gives me. I 'finally' made the...Christmas/Birthda/Valentine's day gift to my husband. ;) LOL!! I had planned on making it for Christmas...didn't happen. Then again for Valentine's Day...didn't happen. Then for his birthday (feb. 16)...and that didn't happen!!! Well, last Friday evening I was able to Finally put it together...the project, that is!! And it hangs on our Living Room wall...in a place of honor!

I am inspired by my Mom. She doesn't start a new project without finishing the one she's working on and she continually shares her knowledge and her stash with me and with my friends to use in and on our projects. She is truly inspiring.

I am inspired my my Dads faith as he goes through fighting cancer for the third time in his life....his strength is humbling to me...
