This week I've been inspired by joining a "Color Week" Flickr Group where we add to the group and/or feature on our blogs every day photos highlighting a certain color. Today is Yellow, and I sure had fun!

the warmer weather has been inspiring me lately..

My children inspire me every day...my 9 year old daughter inspires me to be creative and artistic, as she always amazes me with her imagination, my 7 year old son inspires me to use my thinking and building skills (I'm sure they're still there somewhere!!) as he continues to amaze me with his Lego building skills and all the fantastic creations he makes each and every day, and my almost 1 year old son inspires me to be joyful and to be thankful for each and every little thing in my life, as he takes one more step on his own each day and continues to explore his surroundings with fascination.
p.s. you inspire me as well each day, with your blog - congratulations on the birth of your beautiful little girl - enjoy and treasure each moment. They grow up so quickly!

the sun is inspiring me

I bought this cool book by Kerri Smith called.. Live Out Loud. It totally rocks and was just what I needed to get out of my rut.

I have been so inspired by Jessica Sprague! I am taking her Good to Great Photoshop class and it is fantastic. I'm learning so much.

My 2 year old son's awe in the little things in life inspires me. :)

I'm inspired by children's books lately- we've just done a unit on Dr. Seuss in my second grade class and his colorful illustrations are very inspiring!

Besides my children, I am most inspired lately by...Etsy! Not any particular shop or link - just etsy in general. So many awesome things there. Thanks!!

Honestly, it was my Grandfather's diagnosis of terminal lung cancer. It really has made me focus on my blog and on my journaling...this is something new to me. I want to make sure my kids can remember even the most random things.

What is inspiring me most right now is the upcoming arrival of our second child, due in April. It makes me want to do a major "spring cleaning" and freshen up our house. As a result, everything I see that speaks to me, whether it be a color, a photograph, a pattern, or a theme, makes me consider how I could integrate it into our decor.

The coming of Spring has been inspiring me lately. I'm ready to work with flowers, birds, and everything in the pastel colors.

I am inspired by my father who is very ill at this time. He is teaching us, his wife and children, the passion to living, the joy of life and the grace of dying. He is using his humor, his wisdom, and his love to help us through this journey. We are all spending time listening and writing his stories to remember.

Quilting - the ability to immerse myself in a different hobby and play with fabric has provided me with the inspiration to keep on moving on. No better way to spend a cold winter's night.

I am in the processing of cleaning up and out. I keep finding treasures I had forgotten about..now i have all these new decorating ideas running through my head. have a great day!
