I think one word sums it up...perspective. We had a TON of snow (again) in RI...in MARCH. I was like ugh, yuck, what a pain!! And I hear my son get out of bed and run to his window and yell "wooohooo!" and climb back into his bed. Perspective. The glass can still be half full...even when its full of snow!

I have recently been inspired from some classes I've been able to take; as a teacher, it can be overwhelming sometimes, the paperwork side of it, but these classes I've taken, on things that really help kids learn like web 2.0 technology and Socratic Seminar, have really inspired me to be a student more often, as I know it benefits my students in the long run. And, with that in mind, here's a little inspiration about these kids we're educating (I teach juniors and seniors in HS):

Recently I have been inspired while shopping for prom dresses with my mom. I should tell you that I am a senior in high school who reads your blog religiously. As we flip through the racks upon racks of satin and gossamer, I am constantly inspired by all of the designs, pattern, and textures that are used. It's time that I'll always remember with my mom, and I hope that someday you can have the same fun with Anna!

My kids energy and enthusiam are inspiring me lately. My 5 year old daughter will spend hours drawing, cutting and creating just for the love of it.

I love color. I love spring time. Spring and color go hand in hand. It is every where that you look in stores, ads, magazines -the colors are displayed brightly to begin a new season. New bright and cheery colors inspire me and make me happy.

the colour yellow... i just recently bought a new yellow hoody and 2 yellow t shirts. i love them. i also bought yellow paper and yellow ribbon and made a great little black and white photo mini book with all yellow accents... i am inspired by YELLOW :)

My body's healing so perfectly after surgeries. I feel like Wonder Woman! I am so grateful. I am creating so mcuh fun stuff during this healing journey. LIG!

A friend challenged me to make a canvas for an event we did together. It came out better than expected...so I find myself trying another as a baby gift for a friend.

My 3rd grade students' laughter is inspiring me to keep doing my best even though education in Arizona is looking pretty bleak. If we can't do it for them, then why are we even trying?!

I am inspired by my wonderful family and the best friends a girl could ever wish for!

What inspired me today was a picture and Wonder came to my mind. I am taking Karen Russells photography class, snapshots of a good life. I used a friends twins as my subjects last week and snapped this picture. I could not waist to digitally scrap it. I love digital scrapbooking and try to lean something new everyday. I think it shows that sometimes just some creative croppin and your pictures tell the entire story!! Thats why we scrapbook.

This has been a very fun week at school celebrating Dr.Seuss's birthday. Today was crazy hat day. I wore a fun old hat from my husband's great aunt, and it snowed big slopy wet snow. Fun word day.
