I am working on a guestbook as a present for a friend who is having a 60th birthday party. Also a little album of photos from my parents golden wedding , as a Mother's Day gift for my mum.
I'm dropping loads of hints in the hope that my 2 daughters will make ME a little book about themselves (as of now) for MY present!! Fingers crossed.... LOL
Your baby is gorgeous Ali and what you write about her, brings back so many memories.
Enjoy the journey !

My main project these days is my 2-month old son! He, in addition to my 2 daughters, takes up most of my day...but once and a while I do sit in my scrapbook room and dream of creating!! I can't wait to get back into it, soon I hope :-)

It's March Break here in Canada. I have been setting up a craft space for my 4 year old daughter, complete with her own supply caddy, paper, glue, tools etc....she had the supplies, they were just all over our house! Today we are going to pick up a Cuddlebug and get to work using up all the little scraps of paper we have accumulated. She would also like to buy some "sticks to make a scarf"...off to the knitting section too. I'm not sure who is more excited, her or I???

I have actually taken the queue from you and reorganized all my scrapbooks. I love how they line up on the shelve all neat in the same black american craft d-ring albums. i had such a hodge podge before that it looked cluttered. i am working on getting pictures together for new pages and my store www.invitesbyamanda.etsy.com. hoping someone will like my stuff enough to buy it!

in trying to introduce my sis-in-law to a different stitch than the "knit" stitch, i enrolled her in a block-o-month deal at our local knitty place, and promised to go with her. she has dropped out after a month (surprise!!) but i've been enjoying the new stitches. i can cable!! what??
i've also been working on graduation stuff for my daughter. decorations for her party, a digital book from birth to now, and invites/announcements for her and her friends. i'm totally overwhelmed, but i think i'm having fun! i love the knitting b/c i can bring it everywhere, and it makes waiting or watching tv so much more productive!

I've been working on digital albums that highlight my family's last year and my 7 year old daughter's last year. I have also been working on actually seeing the bottom of the laundry basket before I add more clean clothes. That last one has been a wash so far...no pun intended. :)

Ali, I have way too many things in the pot, but my main focus is to "simplify" my life by getting rid of old stuff that I don't use and minimizing what I want to keep. Life is too short to be dusting and moving things around, I have too much scrapping to do...thanks for the opportunity to win something great! Best wishes to you and your cute little family.

I have been getting my house in order. Getting rid of things and doing a 30 day emergency kit for my family. Check out the Red Cross website/they have a lot of great information. For fun we are planning a ski trip and quality family time. This includes cooking, playing, reading, and organizing with the kids. We are also doing a lot of community services like food drive, cookbook fundraiser, clothes for needed.
These are really beautiful giveaways!!! thanks to everyone....Jennie
