Seven weeks.

• Your smiles are just awesome. This photo above is so very you. Huge, big smiles that sometimes take my breath away.
• Your favorite location right now seems to be the changing table. You just discovered the mobile hanging above it this week and have been captivated by the orange, red, and white circles. Going to the changing table can change you from grumpy and crying to seriously happy in an instant (it seems to be a literal "change" table).
• You sleep best all wrapped up. The pacifier is your friend.
• You are tolerating Simon's "snuggles" (as seen above) and definitely notice when he is around and recognize his voice. He loves you so much. If I meet him at the door when he gets home from school without you in my arms the first thing he says is "where is my sister?"
• You are a mini-napper during the day, but sleep great during the night (can't tell you how much of a blessing this really is - after having a challenging sleeper in the past I almost don't know what to do with a good sleeper).
• You have started having great little "conversations" with me where you are working on different sounds and verbalizations. These connected moments, when you are finding your own voice, are definitely some of my favorite times throughout the day.
We love you Anna and are so glad you are a part of our family.

i can see how that smile brings you such joy. their smiles and cooing noises are the best, aren't they? I love how Simon asks about her when he walks in the door too. What a great big brother!

So precious. If the paci is her friend, I suggest you pick up a Paci Plushie. It's a plush animal that holds a pacifier - any kind. It's been indispensible for my son, allowing him to find the paci at night & soothe himself back to sleep. You can buy it on Amazon. I can't recommend it highly enough.

WOW, she's a smiler! You see it on her whole face, including those adorable eyes...how sweet...lucky you got a good photo of it. She sounds like a delightful little baby.
That smiling face also reminds me of pictures I've seen of you when you were a little girl.

What a wonderful smile - and how awesome to have captured it so perfectly. It has brightened up my afternoon too! Love how Simon loves her and would say the exact same for my eldest and her little sister. Siblings really are a gift, as are children. Have a great weekend and Happy Easter.

I love all of the documentation of her routines, her development, her personality, and your connection, that you're doing for her. This will be such a gift! And is a wonderful pause for me and a reminder to think about those things in my own world. :)
