One of my favorite songs is "Be Still My Soul". From another website: "...it is a popular revival hymn written by Katharine von Schlegel (1697-c.1768) and translated into English by Jane L. Borthwick (1813-1897). The music was composed by Jean Sibelius, from his music 'Finlandia.' The scripture reference of this hymn is found in Psalm 46:10: "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.""

Seeing that I just got to see the Grateful Dead last night in Washington, DC, I will have to say that right now, my favorites are Sugar Magnolia, Uncle John's Band and Ripple. It was a rockin' end to the show! We danced and sang and shook our bones!

My absolute favorite song of all time is More than Words by Extreme. I still remember listening to this over and over again when I was a little kid. It shows that it's my favorite considering you had to rewind cassette tapes back then if you want to hear something on repeat.

So many fav songs. But, I'd have to say, this one gives me chills everytime I hear it. We danced our first dance to it at our wedding. Unforgettable by Natalie and Nat King Cole.

"Still the One" by Shania Twain - I am a big country music gal and even though my husband doesn't much care for it, he surprised me at our wedding by playing it as our "first dance", had practiced all the words and sang it to be me word for word!
