It's impossible to pick one all time song for me, I'm an iTunes junkie and have new favorites day to day. :) My favorite for today is Polite Dance Song by the Bird and the Bee. Love it!

My favorite song depends on my mood, the weather or a lesson that comes up in my 6 tv grade class. I do flashback Tuesdays and play an "oldie" for them. So far their favorite is. Benny and the Jets because they can sing along during the ba ba Benny parts. It's amusing and something they look forward to.

My favorite song for today, and one of my favorite songs of all-time, is Joan Armatrading's "I'm Lucky". It's a happy song that helps me to remember how lucky I am, and how many blessings I have.

Okay, so this will totally date me, but for this week, I cannot get Sunrise, Sunset from Fiddler on the Roof out of my head and have a mini book all planned around those lyrics. My mother is in rehab recovering from a hip fracture, my kids are all young adults...
I don't remember growing older, when did they?

In Your Arms by Plumb. A touching song about being a mother to a little girl... and how when times get tough mom will still be there for her. Snif snif.

I love Apple Bottom Jeans because my normally reserved 6 year old son heard it on the radio while we were shopping and busted out dancing and going "low low low" - totally out of character for him! Of course I had to join him so he didn't get embarrassed by my laughing! So every time we hear it now, he gives me this sideways look and a huge smile!
