The most recent song I added from iTunes is "Mad World" by Tears for Fears as performed by Adam Lambert on American Idol. His performance was amazing and I've been listening to it constantly.

one of my all time favourites is Natalie Merchant's 'Wonder' - I sang it over and over again to our Hannah when she was in the NICU - I think it worked!!

Oh gosh this is hard. Especially because my sister just gave me an ipod touch for my birthday and I've been going through all my songs and listening to alot of old stuff I haven't listened to in ages. I think one of my all time favorite songs is Piano Man by Billy Joel and a really recent favorite is So What by Pink. Pick me Pick me Ali! I really need that clickinmoms membership! Im a long time lingerer and a 1st time commenter. Just had to share some fav songs after being inspired by your ipod playlist and documenting you put together.

Anything from the Weepies, Lenka and Angus and Julia Stone (an Australian brother and sister duo who are currently touring the States)
And we just celebrated my mum's birthday and pulled out some old fun songs including the Beach Boys, The Temptations, Hot Chocolate, Bread and Smokey.
ooh and that ipod ad "I tried to do handstands for you" by Chairlift.

My all-time favorite song is "Our House" by Crosby Stills and Nash. When we were little, we'd travel up to the mountains every weekend (we'd be dragged - who wants to hang without their friends?) My parents would jam music on the way and that is one band they loved. They'd have us sing along and they got our attention by the line "Our house, is a very, very, very fine house...with two cats in the yard," because we had 2 cats. We thought the song was about us. To this day, if I hear that song, I bust out singing, crying and laughing at the same time. It's such fond, fond memories of my Mom and Dad and I can't WAIT to create some with my kids!

One of my all time favourite song is "Oh, no, not my baby" by Maxine Brown. I love singing along REALLY LOUD, and it will always make me feel better!

My favorite song is "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" from Cinderella.

There are two songs currently played on the radio that always make me turn the volume up and want to sing along - "Come On Get Higher" by Matt Nathanson and "Rock and Roll" by Eric Hutchinson.

I just heard the song by Doug Walker - What Heaven Sees In You...such a pretty song! LOVE IT!!! I have 3 girls and think it fits them perfectly and would eventually like to use it someday when they get married--maybe the daddy/daughter dance--but its too far away yet (they are only 7,5 & 3 right now). BTW, congrats on your new little girl--she's so SWEET!

I have several favorite songs, they change with the wind :) My 2 faves right now are BLESSED - an oldie by Martina McBride and a newbiw - The CLIMB by Miley Cyrus.

My favorite is Allison Krauss' version of Baby Mine. I sang it to my daughter when she was born in 04 and now my baby boy. It's so sweet! My little girl loves Dumbo and when she heard it playing on the movie while Mama elephant was locked up, and she was swinging Dumbo in her trunk...she now asks me to sing it to her just like Dumbo's mommy did. sniff....sniff... :0)
