To be entered into the drawing today leave a comment answering the following: if you could wake up anywhere, where would it be? This question is completely inspired by the very cool site 50 People, 1 Question (thanks for the link Helen). Comments will be closed tonight at 8pm Pacfic with the winners posted shortly after.

I'd want to wake up in a bed big enough for my four kids and husband in Pikeville, Ky in an old farm house that's no longer standing. The year would be about 1965 and I would wake up to the smells of breakfast that my grandmother was cooking. She pasted away long before I was born and from the stories my dad has told me over the years, she was a wonderful woman whom I would have loved to have known.

While it sounds really boring, as much as I like to travel, there is no place like home. That is where I prefer to wake up every day!

The Bahamas! Warm sunshiny breezes! A direct contrast to the rainy NW where I wake up every day. :)

i would like to wake up to the smell of breakfast cooking with my family... (my mom, dad, sister and now husband (since august). i have recently begun to realize really how precious our time is together. my dad just had melanoma removed from his head and we are waiting to hear back to see if it has spread anywhere else. family is priceless. i would feel blessed to wake up ANYWHERE with those who are most important to me by my side.

If I could wake up anywhere... it would be in my husband's arms on a rainy morning in...Ireland. And then, the sun would come out and we'd spend the day eating and visiting shops and taking in the country!
