Hey....my frugal tip is to use digital products. You can find lots of them for free, and even if you do pay for something, you can use it again and again, and alter it however you need. You can print them out for paper scrapping or just switch to digital (I'm hooked on digi). I have found the artscow.com site is the most economical way to print out my digital projects. .
Thanks Ali for the offers. I think I actually could attend the event in ATL, and I'd love the alone time!!!

I am very cheap, er um frugal ha. All of my smaller storage comes from the Dollar Tree. Baskets and bins of all sizes! Most of my craft room is either repurposed items or things that I made or got for dirt cheap, but I love the way it all came together. (And how much money I saved!) I'm in Arkansas and would love to trek to Georgia, may have to go even if I don't win!!

I like to use the chipboard, fabric or plastic tags we get off our clothes to scrapbook with. Some of these vendors really make gorgeous tags that we can use for pages mini-books cards or even gift tags. Don't throw away reuse! Jennie
I would love to go to Atlanta so put me in there as well. Thanks for all these great giveaways!!!!!!

hmmm, i am thinking that a GREAT tip to share is to keep all the extra stamp backing when you mount SU stamps...it works as great little "glue dots" and there's no waste :)

On auction sites you can often find large lots of used stamps. You can often get a whole envelope full for a few dollars when they're not "collectible." These make great accents, and have a lot of character especially when they're canceled.

Yes...I would love to go to Atlanta..
My frugal tip is to save clothing tags and use them on your pages...there are a lot of cute ones out there especially from my 13 yr. old daughters clothes.

I've had fun lately just doing digital layouts, and then adding a few extra touches with something from my stash. It's been great to have the ease of digital, while still using some of my supplies. Thanks!

I use a glue stick to attach paper and my "dot" runner only to attach photos. That saves a lot.

Thanks for the great giveaways Ali! My frugal tip is that I use the plastic packaging from my adhesive as a paint tray. Works great and after a couple of uses then I throw it away and use the next one.

My tip is to purchase wisely. Don't buy the very specific themed items. Instead, get things that can be used in a variety of ways. And then make sure you use your stash. I have way more than I will ever need so I'm on a buying diet right now.
(I wouldn't be able to go to the Scrap Etc event.)

I like to collect random paper bits that happen to pass through my daily life - ticketstubs, brochures, the paper wraping of my morning teabag.
Also, I love using maps for the backs of our vacation spreads. I keep the map we used where ever we went. It get's a bit worn usually, but that adds to the overall look. I did this through Europe and have also done this with campground maps, hiking maps and the like.

Frugal scrapbooking tip? Is that possible? just kidding.... I go to Big Lots and Dollar Stores to find the cheapest albums. They actually have some really cute ones for sometimes less than $10 each! Would love to win any of the three! Thanks Ali!

The two things that have been saving me time and money lately are my printer (Epson 1400) and my stamps.
I've found refill ink online that is just gorgeous and works great, and seems to be archival safe just like the mega expensive Epson cartridges, (inksupply .com)
Stamps are just something you can use over and over, with different results- saving me a lot in the end.

Mine is to use your scrapbooking packaging on your projects! Making Memories, Prima, Jenni Bowlin (to name a few) are really the best to recycle and add them to a project!

I love to keep it simple. Keeping it simple often uses less product. I do this by choice, but it does save money. I go by the old Shaker saying: "Perfection in achieved not when nothing more can be added, but when nothing more can be taken away."
I also keep scraps and I'm amazed how creatively I am able to use them... "Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without!"

When I need coordinating paper and can't get to the store or have no $$ I scan part of the outfit in the photo to create a background. Also, Bubble wrap and bleach make awesome textures of colored cardstock!
