Simplify 101 • one person will receive a spot in the online workshop Organize Your Paper Clutter with Aby Garvey

Paper, paper everywhere! That paper mountain growing on your countertop
represents a loss of freedom, a loss of control, and a nagging feeling
in your gut that something important isn’t getting attended to. Your
paper, and the feelings it creates, makes it hard to relax, focus or
even have fun.

Here’s
the good news: there is a better way! With the right paper organizing
systems in place—those created with you, your paper, and your home in
mind—you can free yourself from paper clutter and the stress that comes
along with it. In Organize Your Paper Clutter, you’ll learn a
step-by-step process on how to decide if you need a piece of paper (and
for how long!) and how to organize it so you’ll find it again right
when you need it! Your piles (and your stress!) will be replaced by
organizing systems you love, and feelings of confidence, relief and
peace of mind!

Start date: Tuesday, April 21, 2009
End date: Tuesday, June 9, 2009
Registration status:  open!

Gosh...I stay so busy, I don't read as much as I used to, but I have a pile on my night stand. Three books in the pile are Nicholas Sparks' "Notebook," and "I Before E Except After C: Old school ways to Remember Stuff" by Judy Parkinson, and "52 Scrapbook Challenges" by Elsie Flannigan.
I just LOVE the look of those camera straps! So cool!

My favorite book so far is "My Sister's Keeper" by Jodi Picoult. Actually, it's the one that got me hooked on her books to begin with.

Right now I am reading "What color is your Parachute", this book is for people looking for a job after layoffs or people who are changing careers. I wish mine were the later reason.
For fun books to read I recommend the Twilight Series. I loved all of them and can't wait for the next movie.

Since our book club got started about a year and a half ago, we have read SO many good books! Right now, my favorite is what we just got done reading - Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. It is a retelling of the book of Hosea. Awesome read - and such a good reminder of God's love for us!

one of my fave book is
    "The Super Baby Food Book"
I used it ti guide me through making my own baby food when my twin boys were born about 4 years ago.
But I still use the techniques I learned as far as offering my family healthy food oon a daily basis!

The English American by Alison Larkin.
It is light fiction touching on adoption issues - and being adopted myself it was WONDERFUL seeing/reading that all the thoughts and feelings I have are not just MINE - that I am not alone.
A great read regardless, but a must if you have anyone in your life who had adopted or was adopted.

Ahhhh, this is a very tough question to answer. I have so many favorite books. I love to read and probably read too much. I would have to say that my all time favorite classic novel is Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. My most recent favorite read was The Shack by William P. Young. It is a story that will make you laugh, cry and re-evaluate life all. It was a great book.

If you like fantasy novels, you should try out the Drizzt series by R.A. Salvatore. I love them!

Outlander by Diana Gabaldon is one of my faves. And if you like something a little racier (or a little more paranormal!), Dark Lover by J.R. Ward.

I have to put in my vote for The Road by Cormac McCarthy. It's truly a heartwrenching story, and one I could probably never read a second time, but I'm glad I did read it and it will always be in my personal library.

I recently read Dracula by Bram Stoker and was amazed at how quickly it became scary and mysterious. I'm not usually drawn to vampire stories, but this groundbreaking tale is worth a read or re-read.
Of course, I should say that my favorite novel is Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice.

Whatever book I'm reading at the time is my favorite. I'm such a book fanatic. BUT, I have to second, third, fourth, etc. the Outlander series. It's been a long time since a series just captivated me the way that it has...I can't get enough of it!
