Simplify 101 • one person will receive a spot in the online workshop Organize Your Paper Clutter with Aby Garvey
Paper, paper everywhere! That paper mountain growing on your countertop
represents a loss of freedom, a loss of control, and a nagging feeling
in your gut that something important isn’t getting attended to. Your
paper, and the feelings it creates, makes it hard to relax, focus or
even have fun.
Here’s
the good news: there is a better way! With the right paper organizing
systems in place—those created with you, your paper, and your home in
mind—you can free yourself from paper clutter and the stress that comes
along with it. In Organize Your Paper Clutter, you’ll learn a
step-by-step process on how to decide if you need a piece of paper (and
for how long!) and how to organize it so you’ll find it again right
when you need it! Your piles (and your stress!) will be replaced by
organizing systems you love, and feelings of confidence, relief and
peace of mind!
Start date: Tuesday, April 21, 2009
End date: Tuesday, June 9, 2009
Registration status: open!
Read more specific details for the workshop here.

My favorite book so far has been "A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini. I have never read a book that has moved me the way this book has. I laughed, I cried, I rooted for characters and I hated characters. Mostly, it made me realize how lucky I am to live in a country where freedom is a right. I highly recommend this book.

My favorite fiction book is always whatever I am reading at the moment. But one book I pick up over and over again is Raising Your Spirited Child. It's helped me so much, and I usually don't like parenting books at all.

Hi KellyM, I read that too and found it quite interesting. Do you know of any other books about sensory disorders? I am in the process of getting that diagnosis for my son as well...

A book I go back to time and time again is The Kind of Love That Saves You by Amy Yurk. It never fails to make me laugh, cry, and appreciate loved ones more than ever.

I have three favorites that I turn to again and again. One is "The Velveteen Rabbit." It is a children's story but has a great message for all of us about the nature of love. Number two is "Mitten Strings for God." It is not a religious book, but a book about mothering and slowing down to enjoy each ordinary day. Number three is "Gift from the Sea." Written many years ago, but so relevant to women today it speaks to the need for solitude and reflective time.

Hands down '100 years of solitude' by Garcia Marquez. 'Don Quixote' is a close second.

.....Wow funny you should ask this, a friend had insisted I need to read Handle with Care by Jodi Picoult, UGH it has hit close to home. It is a great read for ANYONE but it has brought light to my relationship with my 15 yr old and a 3 yr old with collapsing back.
I am looking forward to the release of The Horse Boy!
Thank you for the opportunity to win something great...love the camera straps!

I love to read but things are busy as always and I have not picked up anything to read other than scrapbook magazines and reading for work (early childhood instructor).
A Year in Provence was a favorite as were the sequels.

I love to read, but haven't taken the time to read anything new lately. I shamelessly love the Harry Potter series as well as the Chronicles of Narnia. Both are thought provoking (if you want them to be) as well as great escapes. Thanks for the opportunity!

Really into the Twilight series right now but one of my all time faves is My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picult.
