Simplify 101 • one person will receive a spot in the online workshop Organize Your Paper Clutter with Aby Garvey
Paper, paper everywhere! That paper mountain growing on your countertop
represents a loss of freedom, a loss of control, and a nagging feeling
in your gut that something important isn’t getting attended to. Your
paper, and the feelings it creates, makes it hard to relax, focus or
even have fun.
Here’s
the good news: there is a better way! With the right paper organizing
systems in place—those created with you, your paper, and your home in
mind—you can free yourself from paper clutter and the stress that comes
along with it. In Organize Your Paper Clutter, you’ll learn a
step-by-step process on how to decide if you need a piece of paper (and
for how long!) and how to organize it so you’ll find it again right
when you need it! Your piles (and your stress!) will be replaced by
organizing systems you love, and feelings of confidence, relief and
peace of mind!
Start date: Tuesday, April 21, 2009
End date: Tuesday, June 9, 2009
Registration status: open!
Read more specific details for the workshop here.

Right now my favorite book is "The Olive Farm" by Carol Drinkwater. I never read a book more than once, but I am on my second time through this book. I'll soon be re-reading "The Olive Season" and then on to "The Olive Harvest." And I see now, there is a new book, "The Olive Tree." Just a little escape to the South of France during what seems to be a never-ending winter here in Minnesota.

What great giveaways!!!
Well I am completely enthralled with the Twilight series but you may have already read those.
My other guilty pleasure is the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. They are quick & easy reads with a great combination of humor and suspense. Love them!

I'm not 12, but I am so into the Twilight series! I've been in a funk with reading, but during the holidays last year, I picked up Twilight, and now I am in the last book, trying to read slowly so it won't end. I guess I'm a sucker for vampire romance...

I just finished reading The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. It's a YA book but was very entertaining and had a great message about life and politics.

My favorite book is probably The Time Traveler's Wife. It just swept me away in a way that a book hasn't for a long time....Last time I was sick and was home with nothing I wanted to do but read, I read the whole "Shopaholic" series by Sophie Kinsella, and I really related and loved the character.

I'm reading a lot of "Magic Tree House" books with my son (first grader), and they're actually pretty good!
But for ME, right now, I am reading "Remarkable Creatures" by Sean B. Carroll. It's about the key people who came before and after Darwin (including Darwin) to collect data in support of evolution. Carroll describes the people, their amazing adventures, and the evidence and data they collected.

The Blue Castle by Lucy Maud Montgomery is my all-time favorite book. Written by the same author as Anne of Green Gables, the book is a classic tale of the transformative power of love.

"Angle of Repose" by Wallace Stegner is my favorite. I've read that book so many times. I just love the story within a story aspect of it, and I love the fact that both stories are an allegory of everyday life.
