Simplify 101 • one person will receive a spot in the online workshop Organize Your Paper Clutter with Aby Garvey
Paper, paper everywhere! That paper mountain growing on your countertop
represents a loss of freedom, a loss of control, and a nagging feeling
in your gut that something important isn’t getting attended to. Your
paper, and the feelings it creates, makes it hard to relax, focus or
even have fun.
Here’s
the good news: there is a better way! With the right paper organizing
systems in place—those created with you, your paper, and your home in
mind—you can free yourself from paper clutter and the stress that comes
along with it. In Organize Your Paper Clutter, you’ll learn a
step-by-step process on how to decide if you need a piece of paper (and
for how long!) and how to organize it so you’ll find it again right
when you need it! Your piles (and your stress!) will be replaced by
organizing systems you love, and feelings of confidence, relief and
peace of mind!
Start date: Tuesday, April 21, 2009
End date: Tuesday, June 9, 2009
Registration status: open!
Read more specific details for the workshop here.

It might be lame but I love Chicken Soup books. It seems like I only have time to read a page or two and they are so uplifting that I always feel better after reading them.
Thanks for the giveaway opportunity.

For my girls, I love "The Giving Tree" or "Velveteen Rabbit", they always strike a sentimental note with me. Personally, I usually relax with a Nora Roberts book to relax while soaking in the tub. It seems like my attention span for other books isn't what it used to be, lol!

I just read the Twilight series, super corny but fun. I loved Time Traveler's Wife. Currently reading Bitter Sweets. Like that one too. Pontoon by Garrison Keelor is good for a laugh. On a lark I picked up Belong to Me by Marissa De Los Santos at the Library. Thoroughly enjoyed.
Take care

The Red Tent was one that really stuck with me. Maybe because I was pregnant with my daughter at the time. I need to reread that book!

I love books where you are frantically trying to get to the end because you can't wait to find out what happens. That just happened to me this past week when I read The Puzzle Bark Tree by Stephanie Gertler. Go get it--you won't be disappointed!

I have not read for my own pleasure very much in the past four years (three children later)! But I do love a good book. One I have read several times is Under the Feet of Jesus by Helena Veramontes. Can't wait to read everyone else's suggestions! Good luck finding a good book!

Oh boy, where to start with favorite books??? My favorite of all time is "Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life" by Amy Krouse Rosenthal. After I read it, I went around for weeks categorizing the everyday moments that together equal my life-really changed the way I looked at the little things. Two recent ones that I read and liked are "The Shack" and the "Twilight" series (any book that has me swooning over a vampire like a teenager has to be good!)-both were books I did not think I would like, and ended up loving. Hopefully that will encourage me to step outside my box more often!

I belong to a book club and my favorite that we've read there was "The Thirteenth Tale." But my absolute favorite books that I can read over and over are the Harry Potter books. Love them! I love lots of stuff and usually have a couple books going at a time.
Thanks to you and your sponsors for great giveaways.

Secret Life of Bees, by Sue Monk Kidd. I loved how this book just told it how it is. I don't read much but this was a sure winner for me! You could feel for each character on their own... they were all so different. She did a great job and making you feel them. Loved it!
Love all that you share with us here! You're amazing and an inspiration! (and your kiddies are quite the prizes!)
THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING WITH ALL OF US!

Soooo hard to come up with a favorite, but a great one from early on in life is "Arly." I love that book. It is one book that will always make me cry, but feel the goodness of the human heart.

Anne of Green Gables would be my favourite, but I recently read The Glass Castle and found it utterly fascinating. I even told my husband, who doesn't have a lot of time to read for pleasure, that if he started reading it, he wouldn't be able to put it down. He finished it in just a few days.

I just love Corelli's Mandolin: A Novel by Louis De Bernieres. I read the book years ago (long before the terrible movie) and loved it. It is a great story.
