Simplify 101 • one person will receive a spot in the online workshop Organize Your Paper Clutter with Aby Garvey
Paper, paper everywhere! That paper mountain growing on your countertop
represents a loss of freedom, a loss of control, and a nagging feeling
in your gut that something important isn’t getting attended to. Your
paper, and the feelings it creates, makes it hard to relax, focus or
even have fun.
Here’s
the good news: there is a better way! With the right paper organizing
systems in place—those created with you, your paper, and your home in
mind—you can free yourself from paper clutter and the stress that comes
along with it. In Organize Your Paper Clutter, you’ll learn a
step-by-step process on how to decide if you need a piece of paper (and
for how long!) and how to organize it so you’ll find it again right
when you need it! Your piles (and your stress!) will be replaced by
organizing systems you love, and feelings of confidence, relief and
peace of mind!
Start date: Tuesday, April 21, 2009
End date: Tuesday, June 9, 2009
Registration status: open!
Read more specific details for the workshop here.

It's hard to choose one! Cried my eyes out with "Another place at the table" by Kathy Harrison, loved "I know this much is true" by Wally Lamb, and if you're looking for a fun quirky story "Olivia Joules and the Overactive Imagination" by Helen Fielding is perfect!

Great stuff!
My favorite book is the Yada Yada Prayer Group Series. (Don't be scared by the "prayer" part -- it's not over the top -- it's a super great story and I was sad when book 7 was it!

One of my favorite books is GARY CHAPMAN'S FIVE LOVE LANGUAGES. It's a useful book for couples and even friends or family members. It helps you understand how to give and receive love the way that others need you to, not just the way that you prefer to. It's been beneficial to many, many relationships.

My favorite series of books is "The Number One Ladies' Detective Agency". Alexander McCall Smith also writes a lovely series about a philosopher (and new mom) named Isabel Dalhousie. Both series are definitely escapes for me, but still continue to remain thought provoking along the way.

My favorite book of all time is definitely Of Mice and Men by Steinbeck. A close second is The Old Man and the Sea by Hemingway. My next read is Wuthering Heights. It seems to be coming up a lot in conversations around me, so I thought it was about time I actually read it.

I am an avid reader and the first book that came to mind is Savannah by Mary Kay Andrews. But I could probably list 100 books! Oh and besides reading the above book I also recommend "The Shack" it's a bit different but it has a good message.

One of my favorites is actually a kids book--Where the Wild Things Are. I can almost quote the entire book--I love it! And the best part is right now it is one of my sons favorites too so we read it every night.

I just finished reading Kingdom Keepers. It was a fun light read about Disneyland. How can you not love a book about Disneyland

Right now my favorite book is The Ivy Chronicles by Karen Quinn. It is a novel about a mom helping upscale moms get their kids into kindergartens in the city. There is some truth to the crazy things that moms do to get their child into the best schools and how crazy some of the requirements are from the schools. I totally relate to the book because my oldest will be starting pre-school next year and the application process to me was like applying to college...great.. I have two more kids right behind her. (kids ages 4,2,1)
