Simplify 101 • one person will receive a spot in the online workshop Organize Your Paper Clutter with Aby Garvey
Paper, paper everywhere! That paper mountain growing on your countertop
represents a loss of freedom, a loss of control, and a nagging feeling
in your gut that something important isn’t getting attended to. Your
paper, and the feelings it creates, makes it hard to relax, focus or
even have fun.
Here’s
the good news: there is a better way! With the right paper organizing
systems in place—those created with you, your paper, and your home in
mind—you can free yourself from paper clutter and the stress that comes
along with it. In Organize Your Paper Clutter, you’ll learn a
step-by-step process on how to decide if you need a piece of paper (and
for how long!) and how to organize it so you’ll find it again right
when you need it! Your piles (and your stress!) will be replaced by
organizing systems you love, and feelings of confidence, relief and
peace of mind!
Start date: Tuesday, April 21, 2009
End date: Tuesday, June 9, 2009
Registration status: open!
Read more specific details for the workshop here.

A book that's stuck with me for quite some time now is "The time traveler's wife". I loved the beauty, how frail the story is and how sad it is. It's a true gem and I know I will read it again and again in the years to come.

An old childrens classic I just re-read, and thoroughly enjoyed...The Phantom Tollbooth...so nostalgic and still gets me thinking about words and life and meaning and relationships and productivity and all that good stuff!

My fav books lately are by Christopher Moore. He's not for everyone but I absolutely love his sarcastic style and to me he is just hysterical. And on the complete other end of the spectrum, I also love the culinary mystery series about Goldy the Caterer by Diane Mott Davidson - she even includes fabulous gourmet recipes and special high altitude instructions for those of us up here with the clouds!

Probably one of my all time favorite books would be The Memory Keeper's Daughter. I always recommend this one!
I just finished The Reader. It was very good and a quick read. Really thought provoking. I am looking forward to seeing the movie now.

Animal Vegetable Miracle is still the one book that I would say has had the biggest impact on my every day life - making it my favorite book ever. I know you've read it, but I sure wish everyone would! I still think it is incredible that one book could cause me to make so many changes for myself and my family.
If you are looking for a good fiction read, I would also recommend Beneath a Marble Sky by John Shors, which tells the story of the building of the Taj Mahal.

I normally love mysteries but I got into that Twilight series and I am on the last one and cannot put it down. I have never been into vampire books but I have to say, it is entertaining to read.
