Simplify 101 • one person will receive a spot in the online workshop Organize Your Paper Clutter with Aby Garvey
Paper, paper everywhere! That paper mountain growing on your countertop
represents a loss of freedom, a loss of control, and a nagging feeling
in your gut that something important isn’t getting attended to. Your
paper, and the feelings it creates, makes it hard to relax, focus or
even have fun.
Here’s
the good news: there is a better way! With the right paper organizing
systems in place—those created with you, your paper, and your home in
mind—you can free yourself from paper clutter and the stress that comes
along with it. In Organize Your Paper Clutter, you’ll learn a
step-by-step process on how to decide if you need a piece of paper (and
for how long!) and how to organize it so you’ll find it again right
when you need it! Your piles (and your stress!) will be replaced by
organizing systems you love, and feelings of confidence, relief and
peace of mind!
Start date: Tuesday, April 21, 2009
End date: Tuesday, June 9, 2009
Registration status: open!
Read more specific details for the workshop here.

I used to read a ton BK (before kids)! LOL! I know, no excuse! Now I read mostly self help, business, cookbooks, and of course my Creating Keepsakes mag! My favorite books of all time though would have to be Flowers in the Attic series by VC Andrews. I read them a looong time ago. I guess they could be compared to today's Twilght. maybe;)

Awesome comment topic today! My all time favorite is "The discovery of heaven" by Harry Mulisch. It's a book one has to read over and over again to really get it. That book influenced my life a lot: It made me choose my spouse more than seven years ago (because I thought: 'If someone gives you a book like that, he's got to be the one!'), and we even named our daughter after the two main female characters, Ada and Sophia.

It has been a while since I've read a really good book, but one of my favorites of all time is "The Shadow of the Wind" by Carlos Ruiz Zafon & Lucia Graves. There was mystery & romance and so much more. A highly recommended book! And I would love the camera straps. We just bought a Nikon D300 and wiped out our photography budget for a few years!!! :)

I don't read a lot of books anymore, sad because as a teenager I used to read a book every weekend! Where does the time go when you get older? *L* But one of my favs was A Patch of Blue. Another one I fell in love with was Whitering Heights.
Now I usually read more magazines than anything, although I am currently reading The Book of Mormon and The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands.

I have been reading Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain. He is the Chef that stars in the the No Reservations travel cooking show. The book chronicles his experiences working in restaurants and is funny and fascinating and makes you think twice about ordering fish on Monday or eating the bread brought to your table!
