Simplify 101 • one person will receive a spot in the online workshop Organize Your Paper Clutter with Aby Garvey
Paper, paper everywhere! That paper mountain growing on your countertop
represents a loss of freedom, a loss of control, and a nagging feeling
in your gut that something important isn’t getting attended to. Your
paper, and the feelings it creates, makes it hard to relax, focus or
even have fun.
Here’s
the good news: there is a better way! With the right paper organizing
systems in place—those created with you, your paper, and your home in
mind—you can free yourself from paper clutter and the stress that comes
along with it. In Organize Your Paper Clutter, you’ll learn a
step-by-step process on how to decide if you need a piece of paper (and
for how long!) and how to organize it so you’ll find it again right
when you need it! Your piles (and your stress!) will be replaced by
organizing systems you love, and feelings of confidence, relief and
peace of mind!
Start date: Tuesday, April 21, 2009
End date: Tuesday, June 9, 2009
Registration status: open!
Read more specific details for the workshop here.

I left a comment already, but I've got some books I'm keeping so my little girl can read them when she's older and since you just had a girl I thought I'd share. I love The Princess Academy and Ella Enchanted and Goose Girl. They are definitely on my list.

I'm not a big reader. I finished all four Twilight books this past year and read non-fiction every now and then but not much recently.
However, I just finished The Memory Keepers Daughter by Kim Edwards and really loved it. I highly recommend it :)

I would have to say A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini. This really was not a book I thought that I would like, but my gram said I had to read it and I absolutely loved it. Still on my to-read list is The Kite Runner, I'm sure it's just as thought provoking as A Thousand Splendid Suns. The strength you see in the women in this book - it's inspiring. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new read.

i LOVE the book 'Boy's Life" by Robert McCammon. It's not a new book, it's huge, it is the most fabulous, get-lost-in-the story about a boy and random adventures. In fact...I haven't read it in several years and will pull it out tonight for my daughter!!

My all time favorite book is Little Women. I have read it many times and seen all the movies made of it. It was the first hardback book that I owned - it was given to me for Christmas when I was in third grade.

I tend to like just about any Oprah Book Club book. Since I have three boys and lots of hobbies, when I read I want it to be entertaining and not too deep that I really have to think a lot about it.

"Everything I Needed to Know About Life I Learned in Kindergarten", by Robert Fulghum. There is a chapter about crayons being the solution for world peace. All of my sons read it when they were younger. Every year for Christmas #2 son gives me crayons. I send coloring books, crayons, and a copy of this book to my people I know when they are diagnosed with cancer.
