Simplify 101 • one person will receive a spot in the online workshop Organize Your Paper Clutter with Aby Garvey
Paper, paper everywhere! That paper mountain growing on your countertop
represents a loss of freedom, a loss of control, and a nagging feeling
in your gut that something important isn’t getting attended to. Your
paper, and the feelings it creates, makes it hard to relax, focus or
even have fun.
Here’s
the good news: there is a better way! With the right paper organizing
systems in place—those created with you, your paper, and your home in
mind—you can free yourself from paper clutter and the stress that comes
along with it. In Organize Your Paper Clutter, you’ll learn a
step-by-step process on how to decide if you need a piece of paper (and
for how long!) and how to organize it so you’ll find it again right
when you need it! Your piles (and your stress!) will be replaced by
organizing systems you love, and feelings of confidence, relief and
peace of mind!
Start date: Tuesday, April 21, 2009
End date: Tuesday, June 9, 2009
Registration status: open!
Read more specific details for the workshop here.

I just love your blog! The last books I read were all of the Twilight Saga. I really like Nicholas Sparks books and should probably read more than I do. I just spend most of my free time doing scrappy stuff.

I'm listening to the Left Behind series on cd audiobooks from the local library. But I bought "the shack" not knowing what it was about. I heard something on the Today show last summer that it was a great read and we were heading out of town and I wanted a good book for the ride. I could not put it down. Very emotion.

I'd love to win the songbird ave digi kit- its gorgeous.
Best book I've read recently--- Oh, the Places you'll Go by Dr. Suess. Received it as a graduation gift MANY years ago and just read it to my six year old son. Lots of timeless lessons in that one.

Good Karma (how to find it and keep it) by Joan Duncan Oliver is a pretty good book. It has lots of interesting quotes such as "Forgiveness is the economy of the heart...it saves the expense of anger, the cost of hatred, the waste of spirits" Hannah Moore.

My favorite book? Well, it's been a long time since I've picked up a book with a one year old around the house. I love a good mystery (Mary Higgins Clark) or a good love story (Nicolas Sparks). Recently, I've been endulging in magazines.

I'm reading Michael Crichton's Airframe right now. It's a great book and goes into a lot of detail and explanation on the topic.

One cannot go wrong with The Phantom Tollbooth - which is in many ways better appreciated by an adult caught up in the rat race than by a child.

Really, the one book I go back to on a very regular basis is The Joy of Cooking. I love just sitting down and reading through various areas, it re-energizes my cooking spirit. Am also a member of a local book club and we have enjoyed many good books in recent months that I would certainly recommend to others, including Water for Elephants, Time Traveler's Wife, The Memory of Running and Middlesex.

My favorite book of all times is unaccustomed earth by jhumpa lahiri! Another great one by the same author is Interpreter of Maladies (short stories).

I just finished reading Shantaram. I loved this book for it's insight into life in India, and more specifically Bombay, and the (sometimes questionable) resourcefulness of its main character.
