A Weekend in the Life (weekend creative follow-up)

I love this project.
The simple act of remembering to have your camera on hand results in some of the best, most unexpected photos.
I took a ton of shots (more on Saturday compared to Sunday).
For my project this time I decided to do a large digital gathering of 3 inch x 3 inch cropped photos to showcase the weekend. I like seeing all the individual parts of our weekend brought together to create the whole. I will be uploading this today for printing along with most of the photos (scrapbookpictures.com). I have a bunch of specific stories in mind to tell once I get them back from the developer.
Here's a few of my favorite individual shots:

If you played along this weekend feel free to leave a link to your blog or project in the comments. I hope you enjoyed the process.
I would love to see how you chose to document the weekend.
Happy Monday!

I too played along and had sooo much fun! I am blogging my 365 pics but liked the entire Friday eve to Sunday eve routine. Now by Sunday afternoon my kids and my hubby were I think hiding from me when I'd come around the corner! :) I want to do a collage like you used and will too print w/ scrapbookpictures.com, love them! Thank You for the inspiration! :)

I loved playing along. What I enjoy the most is capturing the ordinary, the everyday which I normally don't. Thanks for the inspiration and encouragment.
Also think you look great for someone whose baby is still so small. My "baby" is a 9 year old...sigh!

I just love the phtos Ali. Thanks so much for inspiring us. Nobody in the industry inspires me as much as you do when it comes to documenting my life and telling the story. What an awesome gift you have.
The photo of you reading to Anna is priceless, she is so into it at such a young age. The family shot that Simon took is amazing. Good for him.
I didn't have the time to do this wknd but it's on my list. It's something that is defintely achievable.
Lastly and most importantly I want to say how AMAZING you look. You gave birth not too long ago and just look wonderful. I don't think Mama's get enough credit.
Have a great day,
Take care,
Paola

Loved this idea. I didn't take as great of pics, but I had fun doing it and got to try out my new camera. I downloaded the template from design digitals and plugged in the pics. Still not sure if I'm doing that right. I'm still using photoshop elements 2 and the tutorials all seem to be for the newer ones. You are really an inspiration to me. I love your simplistic style and I've always loved photo collages. I did many of those when I paper scrapped. Thanks!! You can check it out on my blog at http://www.weloveiowa.blogspot.com.

Hi Ali, Love your concept of documenting a weekend. I am sitting here reading your post and the readers comments enjoying my morning cup of tea - it's Tuesday morning here in Australia - and I am thinking.........now is a good time to start. So out with the camera. I was seldom in photos until I discovered my 10 sec timer (totally had a senior's moment about that one). Now I am in more photos. Thanks for a great idea.
Cheers, Irene :)
