Watching the July 4th fireworks from our front yard. The town shoots them off from the high school football field, which is close enough that we can hear the games in the fall.

Hands down an ice cold beer in the evening, the smell of the sea in the air, sand on my feet and soggy wet hugs from sea soaked children. It's winter here, can't wait for summer. Enjoy yours!!

Knowing that I wake up early, my son will leave a note on my laptop saying "wake me for breakfast". That is my clue to make muffins, ride our bikes to the beach, and sit on our bench talking about our day. He's 14 and not sure how many more summers this will happen:(

Eating watermelon on the beach. We only live a few miles from the beach, so we do this a lot in summer! Yummo!

I love everything about summer. The kids are out of school and there is no schedule. Fun, Fun, Fun-love being outside, taking evening walks, roller blading, grilling out!!
