My favorite summer tradition is going to the lake to camp out and go boating with lots of extended family. I have wonderful childhood memories of eating on those cement picnic tables, learning to ski in murky water, and roasting hot dogs by the campfire. I'm looking forward to sharing those same traditions with my little ones very soon.

I really enjoy our annual family reunion (on my mothers side), which is held in my hometown. It's great to meet up with relatives I've not seen for a while and just socialize. My mother now has Alzheimer's so it was particularly piognant this year to snap photos of her talking with other relatives, whether she remembered them or not!
