One of my favorite summer traditions is picking watermelons out of the garden, busting them open, and eating them outside! (No utensils required...)

One of my favorite summer traditions is grilling up a yummy dinner using fresh herbs I grew myself and eating outside on the deck. It's like a mini-vacation right at our own house!

Our favorite summer tradition? Definitely driving 2 hrs north to VT to camp under the stars right by a river in our favorite campground. Nothing like going to sleep with the smell of the campfire in your hair, the sound of a rushing river in your ears..and stars so bright you can't believe it.

As a child summer holidays were always about camping often but not always near a lake, now that I am an adult it is still my favorite way to enjoy the summer.

Summer faves . . . hard to pick just one :). Right now I'd have to say backyard tricks on the slip & slide and a BBQ meal to top off the girls' fun. Love summer; love the products you're showcasing. Thanks for the chance at them!

We have a firepit in our back yard... and something I love is when family and friends are over late into the night. The fire is crackling and we speak in hushed whispers (as not to wake or disturb our neighbours), watching the stars and feeling mesmerized by the dance of the flames.
This year we had such a night, at my work pot luck: most people had already gone home, leaving just a few behind. The fire was crackling and spitting tiny embers into the air. I had my grandkids with me and it was so great to watch them run and play, in the country venue (no hazards or obstacles). Adults relaxing around the fire and children enjoying a late night. It was magical!

We have a swimming pool in our backyard so we like to hang out in the backyard swimming and eating lunch outside on the deck. It sure doesn't get much better than that! Have a great summer :)

Oh that Jenni Bowlin kit looks delish!
Favourite summer tradition? Hmmm. We maybe don't have a tradition as such but I love when (if!) the weather is nice and we can laze around in the garden eating ice cream! It doesn't happen that often as we're not usually blessed with the hottest of temperatures!

Great giveaways! A favorite summer tradition since I started teaching is going home to visit my mom during summer vacation for a couple of weeks and just having special "creating" time with her! She quilts, I papercraft, we just spend the whole time in her studio, absolutely heavenly!
