I took my boys to the local skate park for the first time this summer. My new favorite photo is the one with my four year old, all decked out in helmet and pads cruiing down a fairly big ramp grinning from ear to ear, dimples deep and joy all over his face.

My current favorite is of my 3 kids walking together down the street oblivious to everything around them. We had just arrived to visit my oldest for his college graduation and the other 2 were so excited to be with him. I took the picture from behind - something I am just getting used to doing.

Would have to be one from our recent trip to Disneyland. Got a lot of great photos but the one of my 3yr old in his Mickey's Ears is priceless.

This is by no means my best picture, but I loved what happened today. The Story was more important here. Love summers with the kids.

My favorite photo today is one my husband took last week. He rides his bike 26 miles round trip to work every day. He recently took a picture of the sunrise through the tire of his bike. Looks like something a photographer would have staged. Just beautiful!

Last weekend I got the best photo of my son playing in his outdoor climber (17 months old). He was wearing a bright red shirt and the colors from the climber are super vibrant too. All of that with the green, green grass made for a super fun photo I love. Plus, I just got my first DSLR so I am LOVING learing all about it and adventuring out of the auto mode.

My current favorite photo is one I had taken during our overseas vacation this year. I was sorting through the 4100+ photos last week and saw one that I had taken of the snowy streets of Sapporo, Japan from our hotel room. It also included the reflection of our room since my bf had held the curtains up and back from the window. It's a very cool photo. I had just mentioned it to him today, and we can't wait for him to see it tomorrow.

Ali - My new favorite photo is one I took today. My 11 yr old decided she needed a change with her hair, & decided she would donate it to Locks of Love. She had the required 10" cut off in 2 ponytails and then had her hairstyled in a cute flip. I love it... and am so happy she loves it too! Took photos of the long hair, the cut and the new style. Can't wait to get them in her scrapbook!

It's always hard to choose a favorite, I photograph constantly! But within the past three months I caught my five year old son on our street riding his bike without training wheels for the first time. The best part was the huge smile on his face, he was so proud of himself and so was I!
