This afternoon I took some photos of my husband teaching our son (or trying to!) to pedal his tricycle. It was a special moment since my husband is a serious cyclist and our son, of course, adores his Dada and longs to be just like him.

My favorite most recent photo is of my daughter and me, in Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago on her 21st birthday. We are blessed to be good friends, and I love this photo of us! http://paperturtle.blogspot.com/2009/06/my-little-girl-is-21-now.html

My most favorite picture (at least right now) is one that was taken of my son and me at his latest swim meet. He drew a smiley face on his stomach with a sharpie pen and used his nipples as the eyes. It's demented but oh so him!

Right now my favorite photo is that of a friend's son and daughter sharing a snow-cone. I can't get the image out of my head of their hands both holding the paper cone and a straw from each of their mouths as they both sip it at the same time. It is so incredibly sweet and it is moments like this that bring us joy as parents to see our children in such tender moments together. I hope my friend savors that photo as much as I appreciate it!

My most recent favorite photo is the one I took last weekend. My husband just graduated, and we're squeezing in visits to our favorite local places before we move. One stop was Call Hall, where the university sells it's ice cream (and milk, cheese, and meat - K-State is a land grant university.) The photo is of our and a friend's ice cream cones - just the cones in our hand with the summer day in the background. I have it in a blog post here:

My favorite photos at the moment are the still life shots I took at Disneyland. Not that I didn't take some great photos of faces, I just wanted to capture the atmosphere, and really worked on it. Here's a link: http://misskim.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c881553ef011571163d58970b-800wi

I do not have an online link to my photo, but I captured it at my son's spring football game...He's a quarterback and was getting ready to throw the ball and the look of pure determination that I captured on his face is awesome! I already scrapped the picture and I just LOVE it!

A tough one, but I'd have to say that one of my more recent favorites of is some jagged, snowy mountain peaks at Rocky Mountain National Park. The sun is shining on the peaks in the background while ominous storm clouds darken the front of the scene. I'm sorry I don't have a link for you to view it.

My current favorite picture is of my husbands and my feet up in the back of our SUV with a drive in screen in the background. It was my first time to a drive in movie and it was such a simple shot but thats whats the greatest joy about life, the simple things.

My favorite photo that I have taken recently was one that I didn't think was going to work out. I held the camera up and it turned out so cute. It was after a long day at the water park and I wasn't expecting much.

A favorite picture I took recently was from last weekend. We were hanging out with friends playing yard games when a little rain came upon us. The three kids that live next door got an umbrella and were all sitting under it. I couldn't help my take a picture! It is on my blog in the Sartell Summerfest 09 post.

My current favorite photo is of my husband and kids trying to pull Excalibur out at Disney... my husband is very animated and it shows in the pic! Plus, it shows how my kids were *really* into having Daddy pull the sword out so they could move into the Magic Kingdom castle. LOL
