my 7 month old enjoying his new "game" - laying on his tummy on the hard floors, shaking a noisy toy back and forth over the floor to make a "beautiful" (NOT) sound - I used a slow shutter speed, so his arm and toy are all blurred

My most recent favourite photo is one of my 2 year old daughter giving my 4 month old son a kiss, she has been quite scared to go near him since he was born, so I am so glad I captured her giving him kisses!

My favorite recent photo is actually not one that I took recently but a photo I just received from my daughter's 5th grade teacher. My daughter is going to be a senior this fall and the photo is with her grandparents at a school lunch. A priceless photo that I did not have.

One of my favorites is of my youngest daughter. She's playing with her trike, and there's great backlighting (accidental, of course). It's a beautiful little shot :)

Current favorite photo is a super close-up of my son Evan with a caterpillar on his thumb and his big blue eyes are so intently staring at it... you can just see him learning something amazing and in awe of God's creation.

I took one this week of me and my kids just acting goofy. It's SO "everyday". I love it.

my most recent fave photo is of my daughter running up to my husbands car a 73 Dodge Dart sport. We recently brought it to our new city from our hometown after being gone 4 years. My husband has had it since he was 15. I know he has many teenage memories in it. We fell in love and share many memories in the car and we are so excited to finally have the kids in it. We decided to make it our 2009 summer car and we are enjoying making new memories with the kids. It is a part of our family and bringing it home is like making it official. We will keep it forever!

Hi Ali! my first post to your blog ever :) After Karen Russell's class I am lighting obsessed. I just LOVE this recent portrait I got of my boy, in our yard, on our swings. Great color and I just melt when I look at his eyes.

I took one of my kids colouring in together yesterday. Sounds simple, but I just love all that it symbolises - healthy children bonding together as brother and sister, learning, teaching and enjoying life.

My favorite photo right now is of my almost 2 year old son looking at his new shoes. He is almost standing on his head to see them! TOO cute, of course I may be a little biased!
