A perfect day to comment. I just did a shoot for my daughter's 2nd birthday invites. We are doing a watermelon theme and this is my favorite so far!

One of my most recent faves is of my daughter and her babysitter/dance teacher backstage at our dance recital. She is sitting in her lap in the wings and they are both watching out to the stage...oooh love it!

I was blessed to be able to have fun with friends and get some shots of their sweet little girl---I just love this picture because pure joy is on her face as she was blowing bubbles and watching them fly away. I also love her fun 3-year-old fashion. I think she is beautiful!

One of my favorite current photos was taken at my wedding just over a month ago and is of my mother dancing. The photo was taken on another guest's point and shoot and is blurry, but in a way that you can sense my mother's motion and the joy she was feeling that day. You can see her smile beaming through. Although not a perfect photo in the literal sense, it is perfect at expressing the moment.

My favortie photo right now is from my prom--it is of my boyfriend and I at my house before the big dance all dressed up and standing by his Dad's old Camaro. My family's farm is bright and colorful in the background and the beautiful blue car really pops. Instead of looking at the camera, we are looking at each other-it's amazing that one photo can capture so much emotion and freeze so many memories in a person's mind forever!

My favorite photo is usually the one that I just finished taking. Crazy, I know. I had three photo shoots today and I am sure that there are a few cute ones in the bunch.

My current favorite photo is of the Colorado landscape at sunset. The Rocky Mountains are visible in the background and the sky is ablaze with colors. I took the picture while on vacation and I just love it!

My favorite recent photo: My husbands Uncle got married for the first time at the age of 64. As he and his new wife were walking together after the ceremony - I snapped a shot of him just looking at her with so much love in his eyes!!!!!

My favorite photo was taken 19 years ago. Our youngest is sitting on his Dad's lap and their love for each other just jumps out at you. I love it just a little more each year.

Today my husband (42 years old) ran his first (and last) marathon. Grandma's Marathon, Duluth, Minnesota ... it was 87 degrees today. Haven't seen those temps since 2008!!! I got a photo of him crossing the finish line!!! So proud of him.

We were at a 3 on 3 streetball basketball tournament last week. I got a great close of a player with a *very* intense face. Just love the emotion and determination.

My most recent favorite photo is of a terra cotta pot I salvaged from a neighbor's garbage (along with several others)while walking my dogs one Sunday...I like the simplicity of an everyday object seen a new way.

I haven't taken the picture off the card yet. But tonight we were doing a campout for Father's day. Sun was setting, I turned to my two year old and the light hit him perfect and he smiled the sweetest smile I've ever seen. It was that moment where the light, the love, the everything was perfect. I can't wait to pull it off the card and look at it!

My favorite photo would have to be a timed picture of my family on our boat. I just go one of those gorilla tri pods. Now I can be in the pictures.

I took a photo of my son at his birthday party. I love it because he stopped coloring to look at me, but I can also see others in the background enjoying the party and my brother off in the distance smiling for the camera. The perfect shot, and I didn't even know it till I downloaded my photos.
