My most favorite is one I took of a friend's son who just turned one. I had taken his newborn photos so it was fun to see how much he had changed! http://scrappergirl.typepad.com/scappergirl/2009/05/what-a-difference-a-year-makes.html

My favorite photo is a close up of my daughter putting a flower in my pocket. It is both of our hands and the flower. A special memory from my little girl who picks me beautiful flowers every chance she gets!!

My neighbors have some enormous poppies that are just stunning. I finally made it over to their place and got some nice shots this morning.

My new favorite photo (just taken today) is of my daughter at her very first swim lesson. She is sitting next to a little boy with HUGE swim goggles on. It is so adorable!

My newest favorite picture is my daughter at her 4th birthday party. She insisted on a princess party, Snow White dress and all! I made a Belle cake , the party favor bags were stuffed, and everyone was enjoying themselves. Until it came to serving the cake. Ash was absolutely FREAKING OUT! Apparently, my tiny diva did NOT enjoy the attention of being serenaded with "Happy Birthday"! And what did I do? Snapped away, so she will never forget this day either...

Just yesterday I took a picture of my two girls, ages 9 and 2, sitting on our wood floors in the living room. The sunlight was streaming in the window behind them, making their hair glow, and the two of them were so beautiful together.

My favorite recent photo is one of my boys sleeping in my bed. I turned the flash off - stood SUPER still and captured them in night time bliss. The soft light from a nearby lamp was PERFECT and I'll cherish the photos forever.

Not my most favorite, but my most recent favorite: my hair in the morning. This picture makes me giggle and reminds me of strawberry shortcake for some reason. :?

My recent favorite is of my son, taken just a few weeks before his 3rd birthday. He was holding a graham cracker in one hand (his favorite) and smiling the most that somehow captures his exact personality and sweetness perfectly. I have that picture everywhere now.

I just took a picture of my kids with new t-shirts from my best friends recent trip to Morocco. They were so excited to get REAL MAIL. I hope they remember how cool she is (this is her 3rd trip to Africa) and how thoughtful too.
ps - I LOV vintage pearl and have been oogling for several months now. It was nice to daydream on the web when I was not working.

Last in a series of photos I snaped about two weeks ago as my two year old learned to pedal his tricycle. He was coming at me and I was beginning to shoot into the sun. My initial thought was that it would be an outtake. Downloaded and fell in love with this photo. Sun glare spots at the top edges, a little blur at the bottom - with all it's imperfections - it is perfect! It tells such a wonderful story about my son's life right now.
