A couple weeks ago, for our sons 2nd birthday we took him on a train ride. My favorite two pictures of the day were where you can see him signing "train" in the picture. I love catching his signs in pictures. You just can't do that with words. But with sign language I can see what he is saying in the picture and love that extra element.

My most recent favorite photo was a shot of about 20 nectarines in a circular black wire basket. The basket is about 20 inches across and the colors of the nectarines next to the black wire are stunning.

My recent most favorite picture is from a couple weeks ago when we took my son on his first train ride for his 2nd birthday. In two of the pictures I caught him signing train. I love getting his sign language in the pictures. It is an extra element you can get with words.

My most favorite recent photo is very Ali - it's my DS on the evening of his promotion from middle school. He's off-center and in focus, but the rest is a bit of a blur. It seems to capture time passing.

My favorite most recent photo(s) are the ones my 11 year old took while at a science camp in Cordova, AK and shared with me today. They are not online, but the photos gave me a small glimpse of his week away from me. He even shot video of a glacier calving (talk about being at the right place at the right time). I love that he has these memories and that he captured them on film to remember when he has kids of his own.

such a good question! And tough too. I just had a bunch of my boyfriend's landscape pictures printed to hang on the walls of my apartment. Of them all I think this one: http://www.flickr.com/photos/lswenger/3597607722/ is my favorite. Soooo excited to have art on my walls. Now we just got to finish up mating and framing them.

I was asked recently to make a poster for my middle son to be hung at his 8th grade graduation dance, using recent and old pictures of him. This project had me going through 14 years of pics, picking out my favorites. This was a bitter-sweet task. I'm sure many of us know how fun and yet sad it is to look at back at our children's baby pics. I plan to make an album with all the pics I pulled since they are a nice mix of favorites of his 14 years.
Thanks 8) Holly

My current favorite picture is of my two boys (3 years old & 3 months old) laying on the floor together laughing. Big brother was making little brother laugh, and when little brother laughed this made big brother laugh. It was such a sweet moment between brothers.

This is my favorite photo right now. I took it during a photo session with my friend, her husband and her son. There was something about the light, the trees, this moment -- it just took my breath away!
