I love this photo, I took this afternoon! It's of my son, sizing up his next move in a game of Jenga that we were playing at a local tea house. We are creating a little game monster :)

My current favorite photo is of my 1-year-old son as he scurried away from me mid-diaper change. I managed to catch a picture of his fabulously meaty baby-butt and sadly realize that it won't last long now that he's a man-on-the-move. Those chunky little rolls will soon be a thing of the past, and while I would never publicy share those kind of photos, as his mother, I can't help but treasure them.

The impromptu group photo I took at my daughters last spring soccer practice. The girls are all going off to high school teams in the fall and won't play together again as a team until Spring 2010. They are a great group of young ladies and I know they will look back on this picture with special memories.

My favorite recent photo is one of my little girl and my hubby hanging out together in the kitchen. You can see it in my blog header here: http://cameragirldenise.typepad.com/denise_365/
I love capturing their interaction and even though no one was dressed up fancy and hair was uncombed and hubby was wearing a hat, it's just a precious family photo that makes me smile. I liked it so much i put it in my blog header!

My most favourite recent photo is one I have taken of my Great Neice Mia, she came to visit recently and helped me make pancakes. She is 3 and I got the most beautiful photos of her sitting on the kitchen counter in the cutest little pink dress licking the spatula (after I was done with it of course!!). In the background you can see my kitchen aid and the photo would make a beautiful betty crocker commercial.

My favorite photo is one that I took yesterday. It's one of my husband and 25 year old son taking off on their motorcycles to go on an all day ride. My husband came home and said it was the best Fathers Day gift he could have - to spend the day with his grown son! :)

My favorite recent photo is of my mother-in-law and father-in-law taken in a pretty garden setting. He is holding her hand to support her. They are 85 years old and celebrating their 60th anniversary. They are such good people. They have raised four wonderful sons, and they are great-grandparents now. We cherish the photo.

My favorite recent photo: Yesterday my only child, my wonderful son was married. At their reception, the photographer showed me a picture of them (in the screen of his camera, not even printed yet!) that he took.... they were walking away from him down a country road, she was holding an umbrella and a rainbow was in the background! Perfect! It is beautiful and I cannot wait to see the other pictures he took of this absolutely wonderful day!

My favorite photo was of my 9 month old son. he rarely falls asleep on us. We've put him in the crib since the day we've brought him home. After a "rough" day playing a few weeks ago he snuggled into me and just fell asleep. My husband took a close up of his face. i just love it. So peaceful!

Favorite recent photo is of my two boys caught in a rare happy hug. There is a good bit of sibling rivalry between those two, so it was a treat to actually catch a rare instance of brotherly love. Now we have evidence. =]

Favorite photo right now is when my 3 1/2 year old decided to put on "lis-stick". She covered her mouth and surrounding face with bright magenta sprakly lipstick from her big sisters stash!!! It is on my FB page, but dont know how to link it!

I believe this might be my current favorite:

friend singing "Don't Stop Believing" at the top of their lungs and dancing along at another friend's wedding. It got me excited for my wedding in September and helped alleviate the stress a little. Reminds me that it doesn't matter what the place cards look like, people are still going to be having fun.

I recently visited an old friend and her home for the first time. She warned me that her house was crazy and disorganized. One morning while she was still asleep, I got up and took pictures of beautiful things all around her home. I showed them to her later and she said she couldn't believe her home could look so beautiful. This is one I took in her bathroom, of an angel-winged box on the wall. I like how the over-exposure lends to a ethereal feel.

I recently bought a canon dslr camera and I'm so happy with it. It really brings "taking a picture" to a whole different level. A level that I love! I started a photography blog just this week. www.candidsbycandace.blogspot.com
There is still so much I don't know but I'll get there!
Happy Father's day!

Just yesterday I was trying to snap my last belly shot for this pregnancy. My two year old was down at my feet and getting in the way...just being a normal two year old. Anyhow the baby started to kick and he reached up and put his hand on my belly to feel. He gave me such a goofy smile and I was able to snap it real quick. The lighting is horrible and it's not the best picture but it's a great memory.
