My favorite recent photo is of my son and my husband. My son has his arm around his Dad's shoulders and is almost a head taller. It was my son's 19th birthday. Every month since he was born I made it a point to take a picture on the "month" birthday and it looks like this will soon come to an end because he will be leaving the nest!

When I moved to Arizona from Florida in January, I took a photo of the Welcome to AZ sign at the AZ-New Mexico border. Then I found a Tim Holtz stamp which SPOKE to my soul. The blended, edited photo can be found at my blog, along with some more information about why it's my favorite photo of the year.

my most recent favorite photo was totally an accident. i turned on the flash to get a fill flash effect and it totally blew out the photo. i love the whiteness of it and that you can still see the subject, too.

my most favorita photo, and background of my desktop at this time, was taken last summer, when we went to the ostsee (rerik, germany). it was a rainy day. but when i took my photo the rain stops and a wonderful cloudy sky was seen. the scenery: the clouds, the beach, the ocean and only one woman alone on the beach.
every time i look on this photo, the feelings of this moment come over me...

My most recent fav photo is one I took of my daughter who is pregnant with our first grandchild. She was 7 months pregnant at the time and the photo is mainly a profile. Love seeing the "baby bump." I don't have access to the photo right now so can't post a picture.

What an amazing giveaway! I'll have to check the jewelry site to get one of those round pendants. So beautiful!
Ok, my favorite recent pic has to be one I took from my 21 months son last night, so still no time to upload it! He's in bed, completely absorbed in reading a big book with lots of pictures of everyday things and their names... in chinese! Lol! He doesn't speak a word in our language (spanish) but he's deeply interested in learning chinese!

I actually can't wait to print these out but just yesterday I took a series of photos of my great-niece, Ava, as she chased huge giant bubbles in her back yard. It was a special time and I loved the "stop action" of each frame.
