The second picture in this post is one of my favorite pictures taken of my niece Hannah. The look on her face as she catches a bubble is priceless!

Sunrise shots on the beach with my son. We got up for the shuttle launch which was cancelled. At least we got some cool shots which I might not have gotten up for otherwise.

My most favorite photo right now is one I took yesterday of my brother tossing my son into the air in the pool. He can throw him up about 10 feet and Jack is just having a ball. Thanks for the chance to win!

Our third child, second daughter, has a beautiful smile that only reveals itself in candid moments. Obtaining a real smile in a posed picure is literally impossible.
On mother's day, my goal was to get a good picture of each of my children. When it was her turn, i tried a number of different shots but nothing satisfied me. I gave up.
She was wearing a girly dress and loves to twirl. When she was finally let go, she began to twirl her dress. I took a number of pictures as she spun and when she was stopped her face was shining. I had just kept snapping to see what I could catch and there is was-the most beautiful picture I have ever seen of her!
My heart sighed. My Mother's Day was complete.

I like a photo from my niece. She sits in her chair and eats a banane. It's so lovely and she smiles with her eyes.

A photo of my bf with his parents … on our way to the ice cream parlor, standing on the historic market place of the town, talking, laughing. I kneeled down to take the photo and it payed off – the background is formed by a beautifully restored house front, a bit blurry. It's not perfect, but it captures the moment and the three of them, together as a family.

The best picture I have taken as of late is a picture of my parents with their first brand new car. My dad worked at GM and NEVER had a new car after building them his entire life. When he retired, he got a voucher for his first new car. He is like a teenager with his first car now. Trully happy.

My latest favorite photo is one I took in Santa Cruz, California, last month. It's got the character of the town (an older man with a funky purple bike lost in thought) and the windswept beach in the background). It's on my blog: thomashollow.blogspot.com

My new favorite is of my oldest daughter after her graduation from High School, as she found her way through the crowd to meet us all. She was just so happy :)
Hope the link works.

My current fave is a photo of my 1 year old son at Monticello looking at the fountains. He is in the foreground in sharp focus with the fountain in the background a bit blurred. I'm so happy with the delighted expression I captured on his face!
