There are so many to choose from. I would have to say the picture of my little girl swinging for the first time is my current favorite. The joy in her face is amazing to look at. Here's a link to see it: http://angiesmith.blogspot.com/2009/04/swinging.html.

Gosh Ali!
I think I'm hyper-ventilating from these stunning give-aways. Recently, while taking photo's of our easter egg hunt, I suddenly noticed this & snapped ONE shot: http://cannycan.blogspot.com/2009/04/right-now.html
It really is one of my favourites ever:
- because it worked,
- and was completely unrehearsed.
- the innocence & wonder of it ...
It's fuelled me to keep clickin - for the rest of my lifetime!!!
This concept been close to my heart ever since seeing Jim Brandenburg's article in Nat Geo mag, Nov.1997. "North Woods Journal. In autumn I set out to make one photograph - one single exposure - each day for 90 days. I hoped with patience and endurance to renew my vision of the natural world."

Right now it is a photo I took of my nephew. I took it on the same day as the professional photographer my sister hired and it is better than the professional's work. I just managed to capture his one-year-old personality in one sweet shot. Not sure how to post it online.

Just yesterday I took a photo at my husband's grandmother's 90th birthday party. She was holding the newest member of the family who is just one week old. It is a treasure.

Hi Ali,
One of my favorite photos is one I took yesterday night. I somehow managed to capture my little niece with her dad (= my brother) sittig behind a fire. My niece is looking into the fire and my brother is looking up to the sky. In the foreground you can still see the flames and sparks. It's a great picture because it seems so alive. It captures the moment and the atmosphere perfectly. I don't know how I managed it to be in focus, because I'm a horrible photographer (even though I love it!)... so I'm especially thankful this one turned out great :o)

My favourite picture of late has been one i took on my husband looking over the grand harbour in Malta. Although the view is lovely, it is him i am seeing.

My most recent fave photo would be that of my hubby taking a break on the deck with all the lovely plants and flowers around. It's just exactly how I wanted to capture the moment. I still have it on my camera and will post it here soon....

My favorite photos are too many to count. On May 31st, our 10 year wedding anniversary we took our kids to the park we had wedding pictures taken and had a family photo shoot with a professional photographer. What she captured with her camera melts my heart and makes me so grateful for all of our blessings, I can't stop looking at the pictures. For a sneak peak of our family photos you can go to:

My favorite photo is of my two daughters playing on their swing set. They were just hanging out when my late husband asked them to "smile". One is on the side cross bar leaving towards the swings, sitting and smiling while the other was on the hanging bar by her knees upside down. At first glance everyone thinks the photo is upside down because her hands are hanging and her hair is flying. It's truly a fun photo and I treasure that moment, the joy in their eyes is priceless.

I took a photo recently of my husband carrying our little boy on his shoulders at the zoo. I took it as they were walking away from me, and it is just one of the sweetest shots ever!

My most recent favorite picture. Is of my granddaughter. I got a lensbaby and was experienting with it. They are fun! Jodi was giving her mama a hug goodbye and the depth of field "warp" gave the picture such a dreamy look. I love it beacause it adds to and brings you right in to the emotion of the shot. The creative aperture with hearts is a lot of fun too!
It is probably a remote chance, but I hope to win the workshop!

My favorite recent photo is one of my daughter that I took on Thursday. We visited our city's aviary and she was standing in front of a huge tree with a very wide trunk. She's not smiling but looking thoughtful, not posed but that's just how she is.
I love all the things that are in the giveaway. I was already familiar with the Ink on My Fingers blog so I was delighted to see that spotlighted.
Have a lovely weekend!

This is probably my most recent favorite photo:
http://thehallecks.blogspot.com/2009/06/this-is-another-photo-that-i-took_14.html
I didn't think I liked it until I did some photoshop work to it! Something about making it vintage made all the difference!

my favorite photo right now is one of my son and I that I found will looking through what was on my hard-drive. It is on my blog page.... He is sitting on my lap playing with a toy. This would not happen today since he is now 7 and told me he is too old to sit on my lap :(

My current favorite is of my youngest, running off the field after scoring a run. He's a terrible baseball player, and only gets on when he is walked. But he runs the bases like a fiend. In this picture, one of the older boys up next in the batting order is patting Jack's helmet as he runs in the dugout. Great sportsmanship from the older teammate.

My favorite recent photo is a candid of just my son and I... I looked like a slob, but it's just the two of and it was spontaneous... my son who is two doesn't sit still so when he came and handed me the camera and sat on my lap, I took my chance to just get the two of us... I'm always the one behind the camera.
