We recently puppysat for a friend on honeymoon. My getting-up-there-in-years dog, Charlotte, lives by the "sleep when not eating" mantra. And puppy lives by the "play when you're not sleeping" mantra. There was frustration on both sides of the dog fence.
But eventually both of them wound up tired at the same time. And in that moment Charlotte fell asleep on the couch, and Bella wormed her way up onto the couch too and cuddled up spoon-style with Charlotte. The photo is of the two of them, Charlotte totally sacked out, and Bella resting her head on Charlotte's stomach, also completely crashed. Love that shot.

Right now, this photo (from Easter) of my husband giving my sister's daughter a kiss, this is my favorite picture. My sister is going through a rough divorce, and her three precious kids are suffering. Their dad has not made any effort to be in their lives, and it's difficult. Thankfully my husband has really stepped up to the plate and become a father role for them (ages 8, 4, and 2).

I'm still organizing some of our vacation photos, so no link yet...but my favorite has to be the "self portrait" of my hubby & I on the beach. The typical camera-at-an-arm's-length-away head shot...just the two of us, with beach hair & toothy smiles. Just love it!

My photo is not currently on-line. It is of my oldest daughter playing on the swings in the late afternoon. She is captured on the right side of the photograph, hair blown back, huge smile...when I see that photo I think it must be what flying feels like.

The reason I love this recent photo that I took is because it reminds me that I am learning. I am learning little by little and it takes time..sometimes a long time. It would be really nice to have all of the knowledge instantly but, I believe that we grow through our struggles, effort, time put in, mistakes, triumphs, etc. What I love is the moment where I feel that I have truly captured the spirit or feeling that I am trying to convey in photograph. That is joy!

My most recent favorite photo would be one of my daughter playing softball. She is biting her lips as she concentrates - trying to remember everything she's supposed to be doing.

I love the photos i take with my sister's camera (d50 i think) - makes me think its time to invest in a real, grown up, big girl camera - have just been struggling with spending most a months rent on one item - its why it took me a year to get up the courage to splurge on my mac - which I couldn't live without!

My favorite recent photo is one that was taken on our Mom's night out on Friday. This group of moms has been my strength, support, and encouragement over the last 4 years, and we were celebrating one of our ladies who is moving 18 hours away this weekend. The comfort an joy in our eyes says it all. Love it.

My favourite recent photo would be the one of my husband sitting on a vintage couch with old typewriters displayed behind him. Love this store that had typewriters for you to use with your purchased stationary.

My recent favorite photo is of my daughter laying on a pink floral blanket that my girlfriend made. My daughter is wearing a blue and white polka dot dress and has the sweetest little smile on her face. I love the colors with her dark brown hair and that I can see her emerging personality!

I have some photos of my kids hanging out at the beach in Macinaw, Michigan that I love. One of my favorites is of my two daughters walking, hand in hand, barefoot.
