My favorite photo right now is one I took of my copper star candle lantern that is hanging in my front window...it has a beautiful blue sky in the background...I took it because I am in the middle of a separation so most of my stuff is in storage until i get the new apartment...and my lantern is such a thing for me...i love to light it at night when i read or knit or relax...and i just knew that i was going to miss it like crazy while i waited... :)

Since I am a photographer, I must say that I have a lot of favorite photos, lately! My most favorite photo right now is a photo of my husband and four children... up in the Rocky Mountains near a glacier... It was so windy and cold and parts of the lake were still frozen. The five of them stood on a hill, stretched out their glorious arms and let their bodies ride the wind! It is an amazing photo and it really captured a great family moment!

my recent favourite is very cropped (unusual for me) of my six y.o's arms and hands playing with the mobile that both he and his brother had; and that is up in preparation for new baby. I never would have thought that such a tightly cropped photo could convey the emotions that it is...

While taking updated pictures of the cousins, I was able to capture this one (my son is on the far right). We already printed it as a 24x30 for my parents!

I recently took a photo of my oldest daughter with a headband on -- all hair pushed back --- love it because I can see her whole face -- and what a sweet face it is!

We're vacationing in Nag's Head this week, and I snapped a photo of my son, daughter and nephew running into the water, right around sunset. The colours are warm and the kids are happy and the mood is perfect. My husband dancing in his short shorts this morning would be a close second!

Hi .. my favorite photos are the pictures of my DH and our boy at the beach, he was holding DH' pant (at the hammer loop part on the pant). I framed it - there are 3 series of the pictures - and gave it for Father's Day gift.

My favorite photo is of my mom. She passed away almost 2 years ago at the age of 53. The photo is of her sticking her finger in the nose of a giant head. She thought that was so funny. You can see such joy in her face. That's how I remember her.

I took senior photos of my son. One is of him standing on some railroad tracks, to me it shows young life behind him and alot of life left to go in front of him. Wish I could show you but is only on my wall!

my most recent favorite photo is of a mother and daughter playing together. I took it on a trip to China last fall. They are just enjoying one another and it was beautiful to watch.

my favorite picture lately is of my son at the science center sticking his head out of giant tunnel that looks like and has a sign on it that says it's a rectum. You slide down the throat, land in the stomach and crawl through the bowel until you come out the rectum. Not at all classy or beautiful, but oh, so funny!
