I have many photos that are my favorite - I have a favorite subject - my two month old daughter! I love the photos I took of her in a little photo shoot with just her and I. I love looking in her eyes and trying to catch her smile. The photo is here... http://waitingforourlittle1.blogspot.com/ and is the second post down and is the one with the white background! I simply love it!

I just took the best photo of my husband and my youngest girl....its beautiful because it is so "them". My girl is growing up so fast and I love it when I can capture her relationship with her father-its the kind of picture I will treasure when she is older.

My most recent pictures were at my daughter's piano recital. What a difference a year makes...last year she was plucking on the piano with one finger and now she plays beautifully with both hands and reads music. Thank you for the lovely giveaways.

I have a few faves at the moment. Today I loved the picture of my dad waving from his front door as we drove away. He's been gone a few years now and that picture always makes me feel good and miss him at the same time.

My wonderful husband spent the day painting our living room yesterday. We have two small boys who love watching dad work with any kind of tools and love to play with their tools just like daddy. I captured our littlest guy working on the ladder with his hammer.

Currently, my favourite photo is of my dog Charlie. I was able to capture him sitting, showing off his whole face. He is a puppy and getting any photo of him is difficult, so that is why its is my favourite.

It is a close up of my son's face during his 10 month photo shoot. It is taken from the side and he is looking up (out the window I think). It captures his eyes beautifully. I captured it accidentally as he was starting to crawl away from me when he became quite bored with his photo shoot.

My most recent favorite photo is from this weekend at the York Balloon Festival. I captured several of the balloons launching, and it looks magical with the blue skies.
It was the first sunny day in a while, here in Pennsylvania.
Thanks for the great giveaways!

My mom just gave me a copy of a photo of us together. I rarely like pictures of me, but I love this photo of us together. The picture is from her wedding shower...she got remarried after being single for 25 years!!

Well my middle child just graduated from high school the end of May. We had his graduation party this last weekend. A dear friend of mine took several pics, now my son does NOT like to have his picture taken at all or be the "center" of attention what so ever!! Beings he has learned a few things in life he was the most respectful and did what she asked of him. She took a awesome picture of just his and I with his arm around me by a tree in our yard. That may NEVER happen again and I will treasure that picture for the rest of my life.

Wow Ali, these are such great prizes...such wonderful people to share their talents! :) My favorite recent photo was of our entire family together on the church steps after the last day of school. We did not get a picture of our older son's 8th grade grad night with DH and I, so I was so bummed (you know, pics of everyoen else with him, but not us kind of thing)...slo this picture means a lot to me since it was the end of a year for us, end of 9 years at our school for our oldest, and the beginning of summer time together. :)

I took a photo a couple weeks ago at the beach and captured a moment when my husband was standing with my 3 young boys...the water and sand were a perfect backdrop! It made a great photo insert for a new coffee cup for dad today!

It is a picture of my son when he was 7 and he had a kings crown on that he had decorated. It read "Happy Birthday to me and I love you mom" He has a quirky smile on his face in the picture and the crown is a little big and sits low on his forehead. That picture reminds me of his sense of humor and our close relationship today. He made me laugh that day and every time i look at the picture I remember that moment and have a good laugh.
Ali, you rock!

I am constantly taking pictures so it wasn't easy to pick even a recent favorite.
But, I decided that this one (http://margaret-hansen.blogspot.com/2009/06/anyone-still-out-there.html) of my niece is my current favorite! It totally captures her personality! I love the contrast of the red chair and the wheaty background with her baby skin.
:) Hope I win.

BY FAR, my favorite photo is one of my father and I in the doorway of our church right before he walks me down the aisle on my wedding day. Two generations earlier an almost identical photo was taken of my grandmother and her dad before he walked her down the aisle in the same church. It's the most amazing feeling to connect to the past in such a real way through that photo.

it's not a fancy photo or anything. it's just of some new pots with herbs and tomato plants, but it's my first time trying to container garden. i've never done it before, for fear i'd just kill the plants. hopefully i can keep them alive and enjoy from fresh herbs in our meals! http://www.heatheremans.typepad.com/
