My favorite recent photo is of the land preservation sign at my great uncle's farm with an old hay rake next to it. It completely captures the spirit of the farm & the peace I always find there!

My favorite shot lately is a macro shot of the inside of a poppy flower and you can see the black center clearly and then the orange of the petals is all around you.

K- my new favorite photo is from a couple of weeks ago. It is a photo of my son's toes peeking out from his blankets on day 3 of camping.... they were BLACK!!
Normally, the kids bath every night... but not while camping, this photo really summed it all up.

One of my recent favorite photos is of my cat Mocha as she curls up in my purse. She loves to sit in all kinds of boxes, baskets and , if I she gets a chance, in my purse.

Here is a link to my favorite recent photo: http://www.flickr.com/photos/emmelou/3624039290/. I took it last week of my nephew Owen . I asked him to tell his mom that he loves her, and this was the expression on his face when he said, "I love you, Mom!"

I have a few photos that are my favorite in recent days but the one I love the most is my daughter blowing bubbles. It's just a carefree picture of her but the bubbles look fantastic in the photos.
It is somewhere recent on my blog.

My recent favorite photo is one of my husband and daughter. Technically, it's not recent - it was last summer but I just discovered it and don't remember ever seeing it before. It's the new background on my computer screen and I framed an 8x10 of it for my husband for father's day. It makes me happy to look at it because it is the 2 people I love most in the world!

My favorite photo taken recently is one of my 18-month old daughter walking with her daddy. They are walking away from me on the sidewalk...the light was perfect. They are surrounded by green...trees, grass, hostas, other plants. Walking down the sidewalk is my daughter's favorite activity right now. I just love that I captured this moment.

My favorite photo I just took today of the kids and I jumping outside. It's my favorite because I am actually IN IT! Someday they'll see that I really was "there" for all of the fun we had...just behind the camera mostly. Yea for tripods!

My most recent favorite photo is of me and my newest 2nd cousin, almost one year old, at Disneyland. We both have huge smiles on our faces, and it brings all the memories of the fun we had flooding back.

My favorite photo right now is at my 13 year old's 8th grade graduation. We gave her a pineapple instead of flowers (a silly joke between her and I) and her beautiful, silly expression is perfect! I also really like that all her friends that are in the picture are laughing at how hard she is laughing.

A photo of my entire family at the zoo in May. There were 15 of us in all. I know I my family might get tired of me being a photo hound, always wanting to document the day, but this picture is priceless. It was a day out with the grandparents, parents, brothers and sisters, cousins, new sister-in-law.... Something every one of us will always treasure.

I can't think of a specific photo but I have been trying lately to give people my camera to get a different perspective. I recently let my 6 year old cousin take photos at our grandparent's anniversary party and I got some GREAT shots that I wouldn't have gotten otherwise. :-)
