What cute items, and what a great cause for her to be a part of right now. Very selfless. Her best friend must appreciate it so much.

Oops, I forgot my favorite charity! Sorry! My Very Own Blanket Organization in Westerville, Ohio donates hand-made blankets to foster children all over Ohio and then some. The mom who started this charity has a wonderful selfless heart. We love to donate material and yarn, and I've even been lucky enough to help out with my little sewing knowledge. http://www.mvob.org/Site/Welcome.html

When I was pregnant with my son, one of my girlfriends was pregnant with her daughter. 27 hours after delivering Madeline via c-secion, my friend Liz passed away from a pulmonary embolism. She never got to hold Madeline. Her husband Matt has since started the Liz Logelin Foundation http://thelizlogelinfoundation.org/
which gives money to widows/widowers with young children. Matt is now a single father and has done an amazing job with Madeline. He is truly doing something amazing with the horrible hand he was given.

There are a lot of amazing charities out there, but one that we faithfully support is World Vision. It is such a joy to be able to sponsor children through World Vision and to receive pictures and letters as they grow and learn. http://www.worldvision.org/
Love the top and the aprons. Too cute.

Very cute....and love it when talents are shared for the betterment of others.
Catholic Charities is a great group of charities. Always listed as one of the highest percentage of each dollar going to actual charitable work and not administration. They do wonderful work and this applies to all people of the world, not just for Catholics.

What a kind and generous heart! I spend my time volunteering with Gilda's Club. Being a cancer survivor myself it is close to my heart to give back the support and courage that those angels gave me when I was battling ovarian cancer.

What an inspiring story, and her tops are just adorable!
After seeing my husband's Grandma and my own Grandpa succumb to Alzheimer's disease, I would have to say my favorite charity is the Alzheimer's Foundation.

Loved "Three Cups of Tea" and was inspired by the power of education in impoverished countries. Children can get involved in this charity and they start to appreciate all the gifts they have at their school. www.penniesforpeace.org.

Lovely, simply lovely - the story and the clothes. I have several charities I support with money and my time. My tops at the moment are
1. Open Paw, Inc. http://www.openpaw.org
an education based organization that wants to help people keep their pets in their homes happily everafter rather than surrendering them into a shelter. It also works with shelters around the world with its mental health guidelines for pets who are in shelters to help them get adopted quickly and by the right families.
2. AVON 2 Day walk for breast cancer. I walked this year on behalf of my best friend from high school. We raised $6 million for treatment and research in the SF Bay Area.
3. Chabot Space & Science Center http://www.chabotspace.org. A nonprofit education organization that is helping to inspire the next generation of science leaders. Science literacy is so important to our world.
Thank you Ali for sharing all of these with us.

I always donate to the Arthritis Foundation. My great-aunt was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis at the age of 18, and passed away 5 years ago. I named my daughter after her.
My mother was recently diagnosed with RA, and at 27 I found out I have arthritis too.
Hopefully they will be able to find a cure for RA in the future.
Thanks for the chance to win,
Lindsay

Such beautiful work, and so very generous! One of my favorite charities is http://www.samaritanspurse.org/ they do a variety of work around the world, but my daughter and I love their Operation Christmas Child project, where we fill a shoebox for a child in another country. My daughter really enjoys it and it's a great way to get kids involved.

Well, I support many but have to do the "shameless plug" for what I do every day - I am the health center manager for Planned Parenthood here and every day we see more and more women who need gyn care and birth control who have lost insurance (or are not covered by their employers) who have no where to turn. So in the spirit of keeping the doors open: http://www.plannedparenthood.org/rochester-syracuse/donate-22632.htm
Thanks! Sher B.

What beautiful items and a wonderful friend she is. I will keep that little boy in my prayers. My best friend's mom had a bone marrow transplant years ago, and I remember how hard some days are, especially if there are complications.
There are so many fabulous charities out there, but one of my favorites is Mayan Families. Guatemala holds a special place in my heart and this organization does great things for kids there.
