Sponsor Giveaways: SewCute Shop

Sewcutegiveaway

One person will receive a Women's Auty Top from SewCute Shop (you will be able to choose your own fabric from her current stock):

Here's a little bit about SewCute Shop and Brandy's mission to do something really good for another family:

I started sewing sometime last year and fell in love. My grandmother (Nana) taught me the basics of pinning patterns, hemming, and seams. After being taught those skills I have really been a self-taught seamstress. I have a true love for putting the most trendy fabrics together and making 'SewCute' items. The items I place in SewCute Shop are my favorites and I am very happy to make them for you.

In March 2009 my best friend's little boy was suddenly diagnosed with adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD) - a degenerative brain disease. The movie 'Lorenzo's Oil was made to bring awareness to this newly discovered disease. In early April, Joel, Teresa and Riley Greene aka TEAMGREENE were moved from Chattanooga, TN to Durham, NC where Riley would spend what they thought 100 days after receiving a bone marrow transplant. Due to complications, this week marks 133 TEAMGREENE has been in Duke Hospital.

I made a pledge to donate all proceeds from SewCute Shop to TEAMGREENE until they returned home in Chattanooga. For me sewing has become much more than just a hobby it has been a small part of what allows my best friend to stay by her son's side. For more information on TEAMGREENE visit www.carepages.com/carepages/teamgreene and create a username/password.

When I'm not sewing away I enjoy spending time with my fabulous husband, Ty and two children Autumn (9) and Tyler (2).

I had Brandy make one of these for Anna (see above) and one of these for me (love wearing it over my jeans) and they are awesome.

So very cute! Love her fabrics.
My favorite charity is the Ronald McDonald House. For the past few years, our MOMS Club has gone and cooked meals for the families staying at our local House. It's such a simple and rewarding way to celebrate our healthy children and lift up those families who have children recieving medical treatment.

My brother was in and out of Children's Hospital once upon a time and now is a healthy awesome 26 year old. One charity that I really appreciate is http://rmhc.org/
Ronald McDonald House. They support families going through a child's illness. (Plug:) Any Stampers out there may want to pick up the RMDH stamp set through Stampin Up! and make a fundraising day of their own. Host some challenges, make cards for the families to use, make card kits or scrapbooking kits for children at RMDH to make up themselves. Everything you do in life means something to someone. -tania

What beautiful creations - and how could they not be when made with such a beautiful heart?! My favorite charity currently is St. Jude Children's Hospital. But I've also got a soft spot in my heart for Miracle Diapers which helps get cloth diapers to those who would like to use them but couldn't afford to otherwise.

I don't really have a favorite charity but I love to give randomly. For instance last week I ran out and gave the garbage men money for lunch and said, "lunch is on our family today, thanks for all you do." Giving like this is really a gift to yourself because the person is genuinely surprised and inspired. I like to imagine that they "Pay it Forward" as a result of how they felt. Which is also my favorite movie! Thanks for the chance to win a lovely top which I would "give" to my daughter. :)

It is honestly difficult for me to select a favorite charity, however this one has one large drive each year, and donates the proceeds to smaller local organizations in their efforts to eradicate homelessness. http://www.helpthehomelessdc.org/site/PageServer
