Compassion International is a faith based organization which sets up advocates and donors with children in desperate need. My husband and I have sponsored a little boy for years and we really enjoy all the letters and reports cards we receive from him. We even have friends who have met their Compassion child!

I too am someone who has many different charities I support. I have done alot of volunteer work for AIDS sufferers afer losing a good friend. I support and give to Breast Cancer Research as that has also touched me. I myself am the Newsletter Editor after being in charge of fundraising for my local Muliple Birth Association. We support parents of multiples on many levels, both good and bad. I recently helped raise money and goods for the Bushfire Victims here.
I guess I never want to put all my eggs in one basket as there are so many people in need of help out there.

The charity closest to my heart is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Approximately 30,000 people in the US suffering with CF. Another 10 million more (1 in 31) are carriers. My #1 wish is that someday soon a cure will be found. www.cff.org

Cute clothes, great cause. I always donate to the groups that are helping to raise funds for our children's hospital here in Nova Scotia - the IWK. In his honor and in honor of all "waiting children" and waiting families we donate to www.bethany.org with great intgrity this organization unites children and families all over the world. And in honor of Max's Guatemalan heritage we appreciate adn support the work of World Vision in Guatemala. The work they do there to help families be able to overcome the great poverty in that country is so wonderful.

My favorite charity is the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah.

St. Jude Children's Hospital...Honolulu, Hawaii, where my cousin had surgery years ago due to scoliosis. Would love to give back someday to this great hospital.

I lost my Mom to cancer 10 years ago while I was 8 months pregnant and a few weeks shy of turning 30...her favorite (and now mine) was St. Jude's.
